Pretending to be an animal was something I had to be taught was weird as an undiagnosed but clearly autistic kid. I think no one teaches autists how to function anymore. In their telling of Fall of the House of Usher, there is a curse on this big rich family where each member dies horribly and each episode is inspired by an Edgar Allen Poe story. The woman is “Tamerlane” aka Tammy and her story is about a conqueror’s deathbed confession about pursuing power over love. In this story her warped sense of vanity, power, and control, leads her to pursue her fitness brand “Goldbug” over the love of her husband, losing both and dying in the process. It’s the weakest episode of the series.

As a Christian, you don't have to turn around and say "Jesus loves you." or just roll over and take things. Jesus does love them, but you are fine to reprimand and criticize. You are even allowed to defend yourself. "Turn the other cheek" does not mean you just take whatever is dished out to you without retaliation in all situations. Once things are settled down and the situation is more reasonable, you can say things like that.
