100% support you streaming more of what feels good rather than what "does well," you've proven yourself to be a great streamer in anything you do! P.S i cannot help in the cooking department, i just buy a bunch of frozen things and pile them together. Good luck

Thank you for the stream Great yearly goals, can't wait to see what all you do this year VOD Question, what is your go to meal that is simple and fulfilling? Well you said no Mac and Cheese, but I also like to boil hot dogs and cut them up and put them in with it. Other than that I don't really have anything I mostly eat sandwiches

thank you for stream !! extremely excited for everything in 2026 also, thank you for being #1 artist supporter and defender. i started drawing more bc you gave me so many brainworms, and i'm nowhere near as skilled as so many others in this community, but i really have improved a lot over the past couple of years !! i look forward to see how far we both go as artists for the vod question: i also need to get better about cooking more/eating healthy, but my old standby for when i'm feeling lazy but want something of substance is chicken wraps. big tortilla, air fryer chicken strips, lettuce (and/or other veggie of choice), shredded cheese, ranch (i'm aggressively midwestern i'm sorry)/whatever sauce i'm feeling. sometimes i add bacon bits if i'm feelin fancy.

Thank you for stream! I hope to continue to watch you grow and check off that bingo card this year! I especially look forward to potential covers and more art! :D As for vod question, my go-to is pancakes. Make them however you like, with some vanilla or almond extract, and then top with whatever syrup/fruit you like. You can make a huge batch and freeze them for later, throw them in the microwave when you're ready to eat. They've saved me during the hell holiday retail shifts when I have no energy to cook a full meal after work. If you want something more savory, potato pancakes! You can make them with either the packaged dry potato flakes or with real potatoes, throw in some dried onion and/or garlic, ground beef if you want, and then just fry them up. Sometimes I put kewpie mayo on top, sometimes I dip them in barbecue sauce. They also can be made in batches and frozen for later!

the King Lear modern retelling I mentioned is called "A Thousand Acres" by Jane Smiley, if you're interested in reading it! I had to read it in high school for my literature class (aka it was a long while ago), but I remember liking it pretty okay (except for having to make a presentation on it)

For someone with little social media presence like myself the carrd you made is so helpful, thank you Ruze. Also, for recipes, I've never been able to cook because my spicy brain doesn't let me , so lived for many years on instant or microwave food. A few years ago I got a slow cooker and it's the best thing ever. Just throw whatever in it, including your proteins and it's done later in the day. Easy preparation, easy clean up, it creates an amazing smell so it reminds you to eat and you can make loads so you have leftovers for the next few days or so. I'm a lot more healthy because of it now, one of the best decisions I ever made.

Well Ruze, our goals overlap for 2026. Going to try to give myself grace as well. Nice goals dude. Looking forward to your art journey and self indulgent streams! 😊 Oh, vod question, breakfast pancakes healthy edition. I...do not have measurements I eyeball it. 1 banana, 2 eggs, like three hands worth of oats (blended into flour), milk, baking powder. You blend it into batter in a blender/smoothiemaker, in the pan, boom, breakfast pancake. Its not fluffy, but bit of sugar or syrup on top and its filling and pretty good.

Thank you so much for stream! Thank you so much for being so supportive of artists. It makes my heart so happy to see all the lovely artists in the community get recognition for all the amazing things they do, encouragement to keep doing those things, and for you to always be so vocal about appreciating and defending them. You're a cool guy. Really excited to see you accomplish your goals for the year and for all of us to grow into happier, more comfortable version of ourselves despite whatever Horrors are out there. VOD Question: Honestly the main thing I actually cook myself (and not just eat the simplest version of the food like eating whole peeled lemons at 3 am because cooking too much work) is curry. Just get whatever kinda curry mix you like, whatever vegetables or protein you have on hand (really nice for clearing out leftovers), and have it with some rice. Also really fond of doing basically that but making myself congee instead since I can just dump rice, broth, and whatever else in the slow cooker for a while and wait until it gets to the consistency I like. No actual recipes for either since Vibes Based.

Thank you for the stream! Will always support what you want to do with streaming and all. Looking forward to it! Thank you for inspiring me and the community! Here is to a better 2026! VOD question: That is hard cause my cooking recently is either steaming fish in soy sauce, blanching vegetables then adding soy sauce, or just cooking a steak with pepper and salt...

Thank you for the stream! Excited to see all your 2026 goals, it motivates me to want to work hard this year towards my goals too thank you for being so thoughtful in compiling everything into a caard for easy access, and for going through the new ruzader projects. You are our least favourite oshi For the VOD question, my goal to meal for snack/breakfast is Crepes. Just use a flat enough pan if you don't have a crepe pan. All you need is one egg, one cup of milk and one cup of flour, but you can add some vanilla for flavour. Mix all that together and you've got crepe batter ready to cook some crepes! You cook it like you would a pancake, but thinner. I usually add sliced bananas, chocolate spread and strawberries, but anything sweet or savory goes.

OTSURUZE!! Thank you for everything you do❤️ I’m not sure which recipe to recommend because cooking is one of my favorite things and I have many recipes, but to make it simple I’ll give you my favorite recipe of my mom’s, and her favorite recipe of mine. Goulash (this was my birthday meal of choice as a kid) -cook some ground beef, season as if being used for tacos, you can use a taco seasoning packet if you’re evil -1:1 ratio of corn tortillas and ground beef, cut corn tortillas into triangles that are roughly an inch or two each, you can toast in another pan before or just throw them in the cooked ground beef as is -Mix in some enchilada sauce, you don’t want it dry, but you don’t want it soupy -Top with cheese of your choice and sliced black olives (optional but I’ll still get you if you don’t) -Let sit on low heat and covered until everything seems well combined and cheese is melted -Enjoy your one pan poor man’s meal. Add some sour cream or hot sauce or whatever. I like Crema Salvadoreña. Lemon Posset (I’m making this for my mom’s birthday, don’t tell her) -Mix and boil 2 cups heavy whipping cream with 2/3 cup sugar on medium heat for 5 minutes -Remove from heat and stir in 5 tbsp lemon juice, zest from one lemon, and any other flavors you may like (I’m a big fan of lavender) -Let cool for about 15 minutes -You can strain the zest and stuff out if you want, depends on how you feel about texture -Pour into ramekins, hollowed out lemon halves, bowl(s), literally whatever -Refrigerate over night then top with whipped cream, berries, edible flowers, literally whatever you want -Enjoy :3c

thanks for the stream! here's to the year of the ruzade 2026 03:49:59 vod question my go-to is egg drop soup! i usually make mine with some canned corn, but it's a simple soup that mainly just needs: - egg - cornstarch - some kind of soup stock is preferable for the flavor (like chicken stock/bouillon), but you can use substitutes or even just water (my recommended additions: - 1 can of corn - imitation crab flake meat (or other protein you enjoy in soup) - green onion, white pepper, sesame oil (for garnish)) basically get like a medium pot, dump the contents of a can of corn in there, and one carton of chicken stock (or water to fill the pot like 2/3rds ish) then bring that to a boil, and put some cornstarch in the empty can (roughly 20g) and add water to make a cornstarch slurry (to add to thicken up the soup) to the pot, add the cornstarch slurry and whatever protein you want as the soup boils (i like to just tear up some imitation crab flakes by hand, but things like minced pork or shredded up rotisserie chicken would work well too); stir occasionally as the soup thickens crack an egg or two into the empty can again, then beat the egg(s) before pouring slowly into the soup (to form the egg "drop"s) as it boils (at this point, the soup's consistency and heat should instantly cook the egg as you pour it in, but you should pour slowly so the egg is in a nice trickle, and you can also stir the soup gently as you're pouring the egg). then, turn the heat off add green onion, white pepper, and some sesame oil to garnish (and add salt/msg to taste) (using the empty can of corn is my method to not washing too many dishes LOL. but TL;DR feel free to just look up "egg drop soup" for recipes) as far as healthy foods go, lentils (and like, beans/legumes) are great for incorporating more protein AND fiber into your diet, highly recommend looking into recipes that use them (they're also pretty cheap and shelf stable) like dal (lentil curry)!

second recipe; actual easy one. Vichy style glazed carrots. get like a pound of carrots, cut them up into even sized about 1/4 to 1/2 inch chunks and slices so they cook evenly. get a frying pan throw in 2 tablespoon spoonful of butter and sugar, melt the butter then mix in the sugar. throw in carrot chunks mix them in the butter sugar sauce so they're coated evenly, then spread them out into an even layer. pour just enough water to cover the carrots. bring to boil, then reduce to simmer. should take about 20 minutes for water to cook off and leave a carroty buttery sweet glaze and soft and tender as heck carrots. they're good to eat as is, but the vichy french like to add a pinch of salt and pepper and a squeeze of lime with some fresh chopped parsley to complete the dish. the cooking process can be also done with butternut squash, beets or parsnips.

Thank you so much for the stream!! Even if you’re MEAN to me!! Thank you for always being such a supporter of artists, I apparently said it a million times on new years but I’m proud of ya and I’m looking forward to what you do this year! Now the vod question: Ok so pick a protein to cook, I usually use chicken and sear it in a pan The I make teriyaki sauce and it only takes like 10 minutes You need: 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 teaspoons fresh ginger 1 teaspoon garlic (jk I add way more) 1 tablespoon honey Put it all in a pan, heat to boil, turn it to low and stir for 4 minutes, you can add cornstarch to get the thickness you want for the sauce Then toss your protein in it, put over rice, ezpz meal, 2 pans to clean, the sauce is good for a couple days in the fridge

otsu thank you for the stream!! good luck with all your 2025 goals, i really hope you can get out of that wagon park, everything you've ever said about it makes it sound awful lmao vod question: got this from a tumblr post and it's super tasty: stir 2 cloves of garlic in olive oil until golden, add 1 can crushed or diced tomatoes + 1/2 cup brown sugar + some balsamic vinegar + parmesan cheese + fresh spinach, stir and serve on your choice of pasta p.s. the snarl soundboard has made you too powerful and i lose it every time and i almost CHOKED. MULTIPLE TIMES. LAUGHING.

Otsuruze! Thank you for the bingo and taking the time to look at our projectThis is the year of ruzing around and being more of yourself Vod question: A favorite easy dish of mine is mabo tofu~ Get a ready made spice packet, some soft tofu, your choice of minced meat and veggies, and you're good to go. Also you can cook a lot of rice at once and put it in the fridge to make into fried rice later. Days old rice is much easier to stir fry than freshly steamed!

Good luck with your goals! 3:49:02 for detailed or 03:50:00 for short VOD Question: The easiest recipe that I have found and used is sauteed chickpeas by Umami Girl. I like her suggested seasoning that she calls "Smoky garlic" (1 tsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp sweet paprika (normal paprika is fine), 1 tsp garlic powder). I like that I can use her different seasoning suggestions, so the flavors don't have to be the same each time that I make this. I usually eat this with rice, chicken, and either another vegetable side dish (ex. salad) or miso soup. Please use half of the recipe if you think you can't have chickpeas in a single layer in your frying pan. 2 15.5oz cans of chickpeas, 2 tbsp avocado oil (or whatever oil you have), 1 tbsp of whatever seasoning you want (you can also do 1 tsp of 3 different spices if you would like), 1/2 tsp sea salt, 1/4 tsp ground black pepper Rinse the chickpeas. (You can be lazy and not dry them, but you might have to add more seasoning like I do). Heat the oil over medium-high heat in the frying pan and add the chickpeas. Make sure they're in a single layer. Leave the chickpeas alone for 5 min. If you're worried about the sizzling, you can lower the heat a bit, but they should be fine. Get the chickpeas on another side and leave them alone for another 5 min. On medium heat, add the seasoning, sea salt, and ground black pepper. Stir. Taste check. Add more seasoning if needed. Otherwise, stir occasionally for ~1 min.

As an actual qualified chef (only NVQ2 so take my advice with a.....pinch of salt 😉👉👉) but if you're going to go full into meal prep, getting multiple chopping boards, knives and assorted utensils like tongs each intended for only meat/veg/etc is basically essential. usually 3 chopping boards and 3 knives is good. (Just saying, merch idea...)

(probably best to look up a proper recipe online bc i kinda just go by vibes... 😅)

Coming back to post another recipe - if you like curry, Curry Udon is really easy and just needs one pot for the noodles and one for the sauce. I use Just One Cookbook for the recipe. If you don't have 'dashi,' you can use chicken broth. You can use whatever protein. You can use whatever veggies. Heck - you can serve it on rice instead of noodles.

OtsuRuze! I cannot state how thankful I am for everything you do Ruze, truly my kamioshi Q: Alright, let me hit you with a simple, easy and classic brazilian dessert: Brigadeiro (they're basically just chocolate balls with sprinkles!) Whatcha need: Condensed milk Chocolate Powder Margarine (or butter I guess) Sprinkles How do: This recipe is for 1 can of condensed milk, which I'm used to; You gonna put condensed milk in a pan; then add 3 table spoons of chocolate powder; then add 1/2 table spoon of margarine (important: if the weather is particulary hot, you might wanna add a bit less than that, or it won't reach the necessary consistency); turn on the stove, set to a low flame, and keep mixing until it's consistent (I like to draw little hearts to check on the consistency hehe); When that's done, you gotta let that cool down; then get yourself a spoon, sprinkles, and a tray to put the brigadeiros on; you gonna scoop and make little balls and roll them in the sprinkles! Ta-da!

One of my favorite dishes to make is marry me-chicken. You'll probably find a good recipe by googling, but basically it's boneless chicken breasts in a sauce made with heavy cream, chicken stock, parmesan cheese, sundried tomatoes, chili flakes and thyme (and garlic if you want, but I don't think it makes that much of a difference, at least in the recipe I'm using). Served with rice or whatever you like to eat with chicken. I think it's relatively easy but feels fancy Thank you for the stream!

OTSURUZE! Good luck on your goals this year! Also thank you for setting up the website! Setting up my website as well just to house a couple artworks that would otherwise be forgotten. I really appreciate all the effort that you do. It's okay to take it easy, as long as you have your path cleared.. and don't lose yourself in the process. We're all here to see you being you if that makes sense. Vod question answer: I am in no way a good cook since I've only been learning it recently. Thank you for sharing your recipes too. When it comes down to 'surviving' and just eating the bare minimum just to fuel the body to do it's daily task (curses this meat mech for needing daily sustenance.. some times i forget to drink water too so we're kinda.. dehydrated LOL) when you draw and forget to eat so you find yourself in various predicaments.. so I'd like to sorted out recipes via, "How hungry am I?" Easy quick fix: Eggplant sliced thinly (about half a cm thick, 2 inches long bite sized rectangles) and fried till brown. Dipped on soy sauce + rice. One ingredient LOL. This is my favorite breakfast If I had a little bit of time, here's for a quick cabbage pancake: shred half a cabbage, three eggs, chopped green onion, panko (breadcrumbs) just eye it lol, salt and pepper. Mix everything and cook it like a pancake. Sauce: cook 1:1:1:1 amount of sugar, soy sauce, ketchup, worcestershire sauce till it's a widdol viscous. place sauce on top of cabbage pancake and add kewpie mayo. Optional bonito flakes and dried seaweed powder. You can mix up the ingredients and add some bacon, meat chunks, seafood in the batter and experiment however you want or eat it plain. super guilt-free and you can reduce sugar if you're watching out for sugar levels. It's freedom. uwu)9 I remembered you mentioning you already know how to cook okonomiyaki.. but, well, yeah, give it a try if you have time. but ah, we got a cook so I wake up to three warm home-cooked meals every day... I'd like to learn everyone's recommendations too...

Since YouTube hates me for some reason and keeps eating my VOD question reply... I guess I'll try an abridged version?? Both of these recipes are one-pan and can be adjusted for taste, regarding both protein and what vegetables you use. Recipe 1: Potato Kielbasa Skillet - search "Taste of Home Potato Kielbasa Skillet Recipe." I usually cut the potatoes into thin discs and sauté in the pan until soft instead of microwaving like the recipe says. Recipe 2: Allrecipes One Pan Orecchiette Pasta. I use Just One Cookbook's site for most of my Japanese recipes.
