Fair critiques at the end. I think the devs WANTED kind of a downbeat "life goes on no matter what" ending instead of a big exciting climax. In that aspect, I do think they succeeded... but I also 100% believe they didn't want to have model additional human characters that you observed from a close distance moving around and doing stuff. Regarding the site, if that was unclear, there ARE additional documents that basically it was just some kind of research field station for a government team that had its funding cut, so they just packed up and left it, planning to break it all down eventually. In the time it was still standing there, Ned broke in and took a bunch of stuff for his own purposes. The whole conspiracy aspect was Henry + Delilah jumping to conclusions with Ned egging them on because he was going crazy in the woods.

I recall watching a playthrough of this game years ago, and even then, I struggled to fully grasp the story arc. While it likely conveyed some message, it still felt quite unsatisfying despite my efforts to understand it. I believe this game might have been overlooked if it were released today, but at the time, this type of story-driven walking simulator was truly unique.

Just wanted to say it is refreshing to hear someone talk about why they don't like things (or perhaps even hate them). That last half hour or so, was kind of premium CC content.

thanks CC you indirectly made me lose my mind with this playthrough. this game is not at all what i remember, i remember a big plottwist at the end where it turns out the mc was basically just imagining all the conversations with the woman on the phone and doing all the weird stuff himself he just didnt realize. CLEARLY i mixed two games together in my head and now i cant remember what that other game is called and ive been thinking about this for half an hour AAAAAAAAAAAAAA HELPPPP

i love CC talking about her thoughts on media she just consumed or have consumed its always so fun and insightful fave thing personally , but its also so funny that cc gets so absorbed in RP'ing her idea of characters that she plays them in such a way that she might get less information then get frustrated in the end that she doesnt know about x and y AHAHAHA in this case Henry not reporting everything to delilah and probing her for info .... this is why i watch cc her playstyle coupled with her reactions are so fun to watch
