The ever mysterious journey of our puppet continues, across carnivals, through research facilities and into the deepest mine depths. Each footstep forward heavy with the fate that it carries. To see the Parade Puppet become a regular enemy was a sight for sore eyes, certainly did not expect to run into him in a carnival vibrant with joy! Rosaura too, was relieved of her worries when she was returned the shoes she had lost, accepting us as a friend in the process. Encountering a jester in the Carnival Gardens, his design caught my eye with his beautiful sun shaped head and the love of detail given to capture the essence of the profession. Posed no threat, a few tries to study him afforded the victory sought! An inactive organ brought back to life, seeing the small show it played was rather heartwarming and the accompanying dance moves awarded a strong amulet for equipping! Past the paintress, stepping into a yet to open hotel felt strange and familiar at the same time. Little Spring the cat could not have been more of a dear! Lumacchio then appears, thinking us a Sweeper or the like before granting us the opportunity to ask about the legendary one who set out to bring peace to someone afflicted by a terrifying disease. The music inside the hotel was beyond breathtaking, the soundtrack of this game still does not disappoint in the slightest. Moving forward into the underground research facility, our cricket friend hoped nothing dangerous would be lurking in these halls. A most fascinating area in the DLC, these sorts of places make you wonder what secrets they are hiding away. And would a cure truly justify the deeds committed within this facility? Véronique would stand for the opposite, given the state of her mind after she consumed what she was given by the alchemists conducting their research down here. Tenacious fight, in the end changing up the stats did the trick rather splendidly! It was well worth it, you were genuinely awesome fighting her! She fought until she breathed her last, may her soul rest eternally now... Venturing deeper brings us to a familiar face under a different alias! Questioning him revealed some interesting facts regarding his own motives to hide his identity to protect the person most dear to him, his fight against the alchemists, his thoughts about the golden coin tree and what significance it bears as well as Lea's and Romeo's quest to fight for their own sense of justice. And further information on what transpired in the zoo with Romeo suddenly going missing despite him being able to handle himself on his own. Retracing our steps, enemies rolled as fast as thrown balls down the street, causing a bit of confusion along the way though it wasn't anything bad. On another note, Flay had a point regarding your voice acting: It is genuine in its emotions, whatever feeling you have you bring across effortlessly. The Overseer didn't show a single quarter, being in the zone for elixirs it does raise the question of whether it ingested something to become the way it is. Deafeted after a tough battle nevertheless! Afterward, we are greeted by another familiar face who speaks about needing more time, reinforcing that she will not be late again. Falling off the cliff right off the bat after that dramatic moment was peak comedic timing. Caution would become our constant companion inside the mines, the mechanical puppets working them did look rather friend shaped! Made it all the more hilarious pushing one off "Long live the king" style, watching it struggle to grab on. Also what a blast from the past running in The Wall of all things! Those never give up, do they? Same for the Premetamorphic Green Hunter, implementing a smaller version of it and attaching lore that becomes relevant in the base game is genius! Gaming instinct kicked in so naturally here, didn't break a sweat taking it down. Rosaura treated, the last boss for the stream awaited! Beforehand, we learned of Alexander's fate as a test subject for his own invention... A terrible fate to suffer. The Guardian of the Ruins was beyond imposing, his second phase stood out to me thanks to the markings he got on his arms and legs and him using Hyper Beam as if he were a Pokémon. Thank you for the long session, had to leave at some point due to work and just caught up with the VOD, it was a joy as always seeing you lock in gaming while Flayon talked about everything and nothing!
