The whole playthrough, I was ready to accept that Calli's gonna leave Coupe in prison. So when she forgave her, it actually caught me off guard lmao. What a plot twist.

This pre-recorded stuff cemented my opinion that the old school lets plays were better than streaming stuff. Though of course streaming is more lucrative. This is a good middle ground

I love that Calli didn't even realize she got the bad ending until the game statistics told her she did. I've never seen anyone cut Invisigal, so I've never seen that ending. I love that Calli thought Shroud's murder was a good thing, as befits her role as a reaper. Shroud calling her "Invisibitch" wasn't an insult, though. That was Invisigal's original name as a villain, which she came up with herself. Blazer thought up her new name, Invisigal. She and Chase both mentioned her old name at different points in the game. Shroud normally called her by her villain name, which she chose, so she was fine with it. I don't think she (or anyone else) could take over the Red Ring. The red "augments" they used were invented by Shroud, and only he could turn them on or off at any time, like when Visi's chest augment stopped working.

to Calli of the past: the playthrough was fun, hope you had a good time with your family, funny enough the pre recorded nature of the stream made feel less pressured to stay awake for it and watched them all the next day, which was quite fun without hurting my sleep schedule

Chase was the real one knew the risks by using his power again, and that this could be the last time he did so. Maybe he's been watching missions fail as a dispatcher every day, probably lives lost, and he hasn't used his power. Imagine his frustration. Everything Chase explained to us early in this game tells us that it'd be his preferred way to go out. I think he'd never go this time, unless in his view, Invisigal was worth it. That's not just his "hero trigger", it's him having weighed the situation in his mind and come to a personal decision to step in. And thanks to the Dispatch prequel comic Death of Mechaman we know that he tried to save Robert's father's life. But he wasn't fast enough to do it and stopped the bullet fired by Shroud. So it's possible that he blamed himself and saw after the conversation on the balcony how Robert cares about Invisigal, that he didn't want him to lose someone close to him again. It's possible that he wanted to redeem himself with this, but in the finale we could see that he was glad to find out that Visi is alive. [You are alive nice]

Really enjoyed seeing Calli's lets play arc.

I do wonder if, or how, they'll do a dispatch 2, all the endings are pretty open for it (though this one is perhaps the most obvious for a sequel). Anyhoo, was fun. Good playthrough

Coupe's fight goes so much harder than Sonar's where his is kinda just slapstick, but that's pretty much the only difference beyond some banter lines that changes lol
