I can definitely say that my appreciation for you has gone up a lot this year. I really like this community and I really enjoy the vibe of your streams. I like being a Novelite. Thank you for a great year, Shiori!

This game is a masterpiece. A hidden gem

Honestly, I think I need some time to process that. I can't believe a visual novel about existentialism would leave me a bit stumped about what to think. Great stream, Shiori!

Honestly I love discussing topics like this, especially when a game like this really makes one think on considering their life and the world around them; Overall concept of existence and reality. It feels very calming and cathartic. Btw I'm glad this year has helped you create new connections and make new friendships, even if the main reason was due to some people no longer around. Us fellow Novelites and the girls/guys are happy to spend time with you whenever we can. Have a good rest! Side note: The Scholar character is personally my favorite. I love her design and yellow color. Also that last 20min+ wait was probably ones own room of safety and comfort. The "wonderland" of enjoying the bliss of being here till the game crashes. Probably telling you that it is now time to "wake up" and head outside. Since the "Lilith" isn't the true one you need. There is a "True Lilith" somewhere outside for you to find. I don't know why but multiple times throughout the game. It kept reminding me of that one Mili song from Ender Lilies, Bulbel.

I really liked how the game got me thinking. Maybe thinking too hard for my own good. But, I also liked how silly it could be sometimes too. I liked seeing your reactions. I loved the character designs, I think it might be my favorite part tbh

What an amazing VN! It was so good. Kinda spooky the timing of waiting and getting a specific ending, and then right as you get it YouTube starts to fudge upThanks for the stream, Shiori~n!

This was a very interesting VN! Really liked the dialogue and the deep thought discussions in this. I appreciate these kinds of stories that give you a different perspective on how we view things. Thank you for playing this and thank you for all of your work this year! We greatly appreciate everything you’ve done! Thank you for being here and I hope you’re able to catch up on some rest when you can!

Thank you for the stream Shiori . I did not know what to expect going in as this is not my genre but philosophy never would have crossed my mind. The first ending was very uncomfortable and I don't tend to feel that often. I like that you did actually wait around for the 20 minute requirement , it lead to a nice mini zatsu.

I didn't expect for the game to be this deep and philosophical. Towards the later chapters, the dialogue started to get very philosophical, which you definitely need to take a bit of time to understand. I'm barely smart enough to understand the philosophical writing, but I did enjoy the game myself. The game was right about a lot of things. Lilith is definitely a being to help you cope with the harsh reality of the real world, and seeing the player say '"YOU DON'T EXIST" really hurt to watch. Game got pretty deep and dark, but man it was definitely peak story telling! I'm glad that you enjoyed the game yourself. Thank you for the stream!

Thank you for the stream! Oh joy, pondering the existence of self and others. My favorite. That aside, I do get what you mean on preferring the bad ending. Sometimes, they just hit different, especially when it hits right into the gut. But it do depend on the mood, so it will be different for everyone. We all experience things differently after all. Unless someone turn out to be a long-lost twin with the same exact genetic code and grew up in a similar environment, but that's a different story.

Initially seemed like it would just be a visual novel that breaks the fourth wall, but was quite deep with much to consider. Thanks for keeping us entertained throughout even when just waiting for the game. With remembering what games were played when, I agree it can be difficult to pinpoint exactly what happened when. Appreciate the community you helped facilitate and the people in it!

Thanks for the stream, Shiori! I'm glad to see that you decided to give this VN a go. It's got to be one of my favorite ones of all time! I've always loved these types of philosophical topics; things like the concept of existence and reality itself are always so interesting to both think and talk about. It really makes you ponder life and the world around you as you go about your day-to-day, aye? Glad you enjoyed it! I hope we get to see you play more VNs in the future, too!

This was an enjoyable stream! This story was pretty interesting and thought provocative, I feel like the neutral ending resonated with me the most, perhaps because it felt realistic, yet hopeful. I also really like the artstyle, whixh reminded me of one of my favourite artists.

Thank you for the stream, Shiori. I really love this game, it must be one of my favorites of all times. I think the game gets its point across fairly well, but there are some things here and there that cannot click that easily if you're not invested or relating to the story. The balance between heavy as metal and funny topics and situations is what makes it sting more: it mimics reality and makes it so that the viewer gets more attached to the story. Same thing happens in OMORI, for example. That's a style of storywriting that I love. I really hate and avoid at all costs to speak of personal things, but I feel like in this case I should be the one raising the hand and take the bullet while saying: "Hello! This happened to me!" , just to let everyone know that this is of course a game, but these kind of situation are very real. I have been dealing with a similar situation during a certain point of my life years ago, I just stopped going out, stopped working, stopped talking, basically stopped everything. (I'm way better now and it's been a long while, I go out with friends, I do groceries etc. so don't worry!) I believe certain things are just rooted in one's mind and that's nothing that can prevent them with 100% accuracy from emerging and shatter one's life, genetics can and do play a role so it's no one's fault, really. I didn't have the same outcome of the MC though, it didn't develop into tulpas, imaginary voices, schizophrenia or anything similar. The character, Lilith, is very dear to me, it represents heaven and hell both, but that hell is something that never feels wrong: it doesn't manipulate, attack or even hurt you at all. In fact it is actively trying to protect, despite the final result being negative. I do feel like I care for the character on a personal level due to my past. It's the personification of both bad and good things that makes the concept even harder to digest. The scene where you kaput her with your own hand is absolutely disturbing to me, it is one of the very few fictional things I cannot stomach, it just phisically make me feel sick probably because I feel very related to it. And the "bad" ending is very "bad" because you're not simply ending your suffering but you're ending a part of yourself, your creation and a personification (which is what makes me incapable to stomach it). You're not overcoming the problem, nor growing out of it: you're forcefully silencing it, destroying it without leaving any tangible trace. At least that's how I see it! I've never found something that striked me personally this hard, and I play a lot of VN or RPGM games with similar themes. When I played this game a year ago, I was truly shocked to how well everything is represented. Certain points were really 1:1 to my old situation! Then, I remembered I don't own the game on my account... Until today! I will replay it once again later I'm very glad you played this and I hope it made you think a little about the real equivalent of this kinds of struggles. Here, where I live, there's very little attention to this particular problem, so much that I felt crazy for a while! There are many specific observation and there's a lot to talk to in every thing Lilith says and how the story unfolds in general. But I don't really like to talk about my past, I feel like I've said too much already! Take care of yourself! The stream ended abruptly, I don't know if you redirected to Rissa or if YouTube just glitched me to Rissa. Either way, loved it because I went from watching you play this game which is one of my favorites, to Rissa playing Star Rail... Which is another favorite of mine, I love the cast there!

If I'm honest that wasn't too scary. I liked the game, I like philosophy. You make the choices you want, you choose your reality (just keep in mind the consequences....). And thank you for talking with us during the wait, the custody talk for your pookie was something Tho I'm sad to say I haven't been able to play any of the games you streamed/recommended Sorry! Also this year has been a ride so fair that its kind of a blur, can't even imagine what you had to deal with on your endBut I'm super happy you got collab more often!Getting out of one's comfort is a huge hurdle so I'm glad you made some progress with it. All that said I'm yapping too much so thank you for all that you've done this year and I hope you have a good rest of your day!Love you Shiori!
