I can't say I like this chapter. The whole disease thing goes against Monokuma's motive. He wants people to murder each other of their own volition, to prove how awful people can be. He is an avatar of despair. But the 'disease' was as good as mind control. It basically forced events to happen. As for Mikan, she always just felt like a character who was written entirely for fanservice, then had justifications tacked on after. And her motive was really underwhelming. 'Remembering disease' was just lazy writing. Her execution was also pretty underwhelming, considering how zany they usually are. Not to mention also filled with pointless fanservice. I've got nothing against making characters sexy, but it was all Mikan ever brought to the table.
