VOD question: My most grandiose dream. It was what could be described as the End Times and I was pleading with the God of Death for the well-being of humankind.

Answer to VOD question: I had a recurring nightmare as a kid of walking through a bog and waking up a rotting alligator that would chase me, and every time I had the dream it got closer to catching me.

thanks for telling zade he's bonita i had a dream recently where i was inexplicably placed in a real life fetch quest where i just kept finding tiny, like, 1-2 week old kittens around a furniture store. i just kept finding more and more. i was getting so stressed because there were so many tiny little kittens. and also like three bunnies for some reason. i distinctly remember being so stressed because i was desperately trying to keep all of them from swandiving off of a high enough shelf and hurting themselves, because baby cats are not well known for having the best survival instincts or coordination. also i ended up adopting the littlest one. he was smaller than my palm and i named him cooking pan.

Cupcakes look tasty In 2nd grade I had a nightmare about being in a chemistry class with test tubes and beakers full of colored liquids, and there was a TV on showing footage of explorers (like a video game I played called Cluefinders), and suddenly the dream transitioned to me being the explorer, scaling a snowy mountain. I took refuge in a cave, and spot a large hunched figure in a big coat with its back turned to me standing at the edge of a deep crevice. They fall in, so I run over and catch them with a grappling hook, but when I reel them back up and get them on solid ground, they turn around and reveal a monstrous head somewhere between a wolf and Predator. I woke up as they were about to bite my head off. I've had other nightmares, but that one still stands out for how vivid, original, and oddly specific it was.

The exhibition "Body Worlds" was going on at that time and I remember having some sort of "nightmare" after seeing it. I was strolling through the woods with sliced humans of just parts from humans standing/staggering around, chanting "honor the dead" over and over and over.

So my most unique nightmare started out as a battle royal scavenger hunt. Me and a bunch of my friends and other people I knew were in my childhood home but it was way bigger and had a bunch of extra rooms that it doesn't have IRL. Everyone was in pairs searching the house and garden for clues trying to find something super important (don't know what) and trying to get to it before everyone else but we also all had weapons and the teams battled whenever they saw each other. Up until that point it was kind of like an action movie, epic and exciting but then it turned into a nightmare. My Team partner got killed and I narrowly escaped only to run into a trap that knocked me out. I woke up in my basement chained to a chair. With another team (who IRL were actually two of my closest friends at the time) keeping me captive, just that one of them had turned into a mad scientist that proceeded to mutate my cat. Crossing it's DNA with that of a scorpion and a rose and turning it into an elephant sized monstrosity that was a gruesome amalgamation of my sweet kitty and a scorpion and had huge spikes sticking out everywhere. It crawled towards me and was jumping to attack and then I woke up. And it was that kind of dream where the first few seconds after waking up you don't realize it was just a dream and your still panicked and just at that moment my cat meowed and came into my room. God I was so relieved she was okay

Ok so I have a couple vivid dreams I’ll share in the shortest possible way so this doesn’t end up a mile long 1. I once had a dream that lasted an entire lifetime, it felt like real life, genuinely didn’t feel like I missed a second of it. It lasted until I was in my late 60s and it is very heart wrenchingly nostalgic for me to think back on 2. I had reoccurring dreams growing up about this jerk named Hincaru who was always there to antagonize me but he was also *always* there and he gave me pep talks and helped me when I was having a bad time. I stole his name. 3. I have reoccurring nightmares of running through a dark city through back alleys and up fire escapes from a monster I can never get a good look at and I’m always leading someone by the hand trying to protect them from the monster. Dreams are so strange sometimes

For the vod question, the only dream I have had that has stood out/I can remember is about my younger self leaving the pool in my backyard as a giant black widow spider chased me down into the house and I woke up before it bit me. From that day on I have had arachnophobia that has only tempered somewhat over the years. :))))

OK, here's my answer to the VOD question, so I had this dream that I was taken away from my family to an underground city to work for a delivery gal of sorts.

I had a nightmare recently, and while I cannot remember all the specifics, it ended in me dying. The worst part is that my nightnare decided to get "stuck" on strobing lights and this horrific noise until i woke up. I tend to mostly have nightmares too but so far that is the only time I've literally been jumpscared awake by one. That being said, the ones where I can feel physical sensation are never pleasant because it is always pain...

Vod question: My most memorable nightmare was unfortunately one where I was dying over and over (no gruesome details). I was trapped in an ever changing room with roughly 15 other people, and every time we died and failed to escape, the room would reset and we've have to do it again. One of the cycles involved the entire room just spinning and tumbling, like if you were on the inside of falling dice, and people were trying to cling to iron barriers or bars and avoid heavy objects. There was very little time to observe the room and plan every time the cycle reset; everyone would die, it would reset and we had to try to survive again, be it lava flooding in or the floor opened into a giant turbine. No one escaped by the time I woke up. Stuck with me most of my life. Honorable dream mention: When I was 4 years old I dreamed I was a Care Bear and the way Care Bears would go between earth and the Care Bear Kingdom up in the clouds was by personal party balloons. They would simply hold the balloon string and float back up etc. The nightmare part was mostly a severe sense of abandonment as I couldn't tie my balloon properly (given I was 4, I didn't know how to tie knots anyway) and so I was watching other Care Bears go back home up into the clouds and I left behind. I was SUPER upset after that.

I also had a nightmare where (cant remember much) I was chased by invisible monsters that you can only see through electric currents on wires and you had to unplug the wires from the power points to stop them..

Guess I can also share a cool dream. I was riding into battle with an army (think Gandalf and the Rohirrim joining the battle of helm's deep) except we were all riding on donkeys instead of horses. They were decked out in armor and everything and it was this really epic scene (even though thinking back on it now with how goofy donkeys look, it's kind of funny). Anyway we ride into this grand canyon looking valley and are suddenly facing this GIGANTIC Cyborg - giraffe - deer. (It was part robot, part animal and had the body plan of a deer with antlers and all but also a way too long neck like a giraffe) and when I say gigantic I mean skyscraper sized. We would ride to it's legs trying to stick it with spears and it would shoot lasers and rockets at us. It was epic

I usually forget my dreams/nightmares after a few days but 2 that have stuck with me are one where I was dating justin bieber (I dont care for him so idk where that one came from) and one where I was running around a mall trying to not get eaten by a giant worm. I'm not afraid of worms or anything, but I guess my brain decided that would be the best monster.

I was running on a worn dirt/gravel path towards a barn-looking building. when i got inside, the lights were red ab there was a man i called mr young standing on a rafter/balcony thing; he was pale, with short black hair, a suit, and sunglasses. i was yelling for him to help me, and he pulled a lever when a car pulled up outside - my pursuers. then plastic ball pit balls rained down from the cieling and the floor gave out and i woke up gasping for air, but my fever broke :] i later started planning and writing a story based on it! with all the cringeless confidence of a 12yo there were 2 other dreams that immediately came to mind when you asked, but this one was the most exciting and least depressing jfjsksksk

Thanks for the stream as always c: As for the nightmare question, my first really bad horror movie experience was at a sleepover for one of my friends bday. We watched "13 ghosts" and in that movie there is a monster "the torso". I fell asleep during the movie but woke up in the middle of it to parts with the torso and just remember it like TERRIFYING ME at the time--like i was in that not really awake but not really asleep like have aware state just intaking this horror movie scene. So for years I had nightmares that included "the torso" chasing me and my friends. *BUT*. I also had a weird like...there was a disaster movie ride at universal studios my friends would make fun of that has Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and in it he's a park ranger and literally there is just one scene where he goes "DONT' WORRY I'M A PARK RANGER I'LL SAVE YOU" and like super hero poses. We would joke about that all the time. So at one point my brain decided both of these had to be merged, so I'd have these nightmares about my friends and I being chased by the torso monster/needing to escape this like WEIRD DREAM ZONE--but THE ROCK WOULD APPEAR in his little lad park ranger outfit like FROM A PORTAL???? and just go "Don't worry! I'll save you! I'm a park ranger!".

Thank you for the stream The nightmare that stood out to me the most and traumatized me for quite a while goes like this(CW kinda) I was young, I don't know how little at least five. I had to go out to my family's garage for something at night and usually we have a spot light that shines to the garage but this time they were pointed up to its roof like search lights. Then two giant polar bears crawled over the garage and I ran for my dad truck and hid in the back seats. The bear then bit through half of the truck and bit me in half. I then woke up sweating and I didn't go out at night for a long time.

Ok, unique nightmare... Hmmm... There was one where I came across a snake which began growing to the size of a small building & then swallowed me whole. I told my mom about it the next day, and she told me that in her culture there is a superstition that if you dream about snakes, you'll become rich in the future. I hope that future comes soon, haha!

Nice cupcakes! 😄 VOD question: My most notable dream in recent memory was one where I was trying to backtrack through a mall to a store where I forgot my wallet, but I kept going through large and very thematically different areas that made no sense being inside a mall. Like a hotel lobby, then a backstage area that had huge styrofoam sculptures, then a car dealership floor, then an art museum, then an outdoor park with a fountain... I woke up in from the dream after screaming "Where the hell even am i?!" out of frustration lol

2:08:30 VOD question! I once had a really weird dream about a group of cannibals that opened a cafe inside my school. I had to fight them to make sure they didn't eat anyone, and won without even a scratch (they were all wielding huge fabric scissors for some reason)

Getting through my VOD backlog - I don't have any nightmare stories worth sharing unfortunately, but after getting treatment for PTSD, I don't have nightmares at all anymore!
