Alan Wake playthrough has been so much fun! After this game's stage setup, every Remedy game from here on has a big "fight + song" sequence and they seem to be challenging themselves to make each one crazier and crazier, it's probably the best part of every game! For the future, it might seem like it would make sense to go from AW1 to 2, but Control works really well in the middle. There's even a DLC that is directly a setup TO Alan Wake 2. The gameplay is also very different, so you'd get some good variety if you chose to go that direction. Either way, we'll all enjoy whatever games you decide to pick this year.

The reveal that the cabin had those little windows that marked it as the same as the live-action videos was very fun! Just for that I'll forgive Remedy for putting in a hedge maze.

Congrats on clearing another chapter Minki! It was really cool how you decided to challenge yourself and not use any of the weapons they give you on the stage, defeating the taken with pure skill. "Art coming to life" is a trope that's been explored plenty times but I really like the way Remedy did it here. Alan's writing is affecting the events of the game but you also see Zane working towards getting his beloved back as well and Tor and Odin being pretty much bards and singing about the current events, even that painter guy on Hartman's clinic to a lesser extent. On that note, after you complete the game (or games) I really recommend you to check Poets of the Fall (the voices behind the Old Gods). Great stuff all round. 🎸
