Season's Greasons! Walking in five days late with coffee but nothing like a good old chit chat to break it up inbetween all the incredible RP going on! Serves as a nice little decompressor. Still scrambling to watch the rest of the RP VODs, they've been ramping up but I have been having the time of my life watching these on my own time to make my office work less monotonuous or when I sit at home holding my stomach from cry-laughing. The movie names for all the VODs are so cool, even more impressive that you come with the names last minute. Like I wrote before, the RP has been an absolute delight to follow with new moments to laugh over almost every second and you can't look away from the screen because you might miss cinema in the making! Haven't recovered from the hysterical moments in Episode 4 nor am I over the entire pig curse from Episode 5. Compared to Season 1 which felt more grounded (to some extent, it was crazy either way), Season 2 picked up in pace and increased on interactions and quality both! Lambriel's physical comedy as Beef cracked me up so bad, he has such a knack for it that makes it feel entirely natural and never too overbearing but instead just the right amount to kill you in one fell swoop. Whereas Apollo Bugman's off-handed comments had the exact same effect except they hit you with the metaphorical steel chair. He does such an insanely great job at referencing OOC things while staying in-character or vice versa. Him saying you need to use a pot for a certain action was beyond hilarious. Glad to hear you're doing what's necessary to protect your throat and that you're continuing to be in the market for a vocal teacher! Whether or not reading tips online, consulting videos and taking free classes qualifies as a teacher, it serves as a good basis where you can pick up from. After all, you have to start somewhere! Contacting someone nevermind figuring out how to budget the costs has to be scary and likely involves a bunch of added stress but hoping you can find a teacher within your price range who will be able to accommodate your needs, give advice suitable to your singing style and be your advisor every step of the way. May the angel of music inside you grow wings and take flight once more when the time comes! The fact you're doing so well is and the horrors haven't come to haunt you yet is a good sign! With any luck, they won't come back for a while yet. And in regards to the RP, flying by the seat of your pants is part of the process when working with so many unpredictable scenarios. Although it's clear your talent for cinematography shines brightest when working in this kind of environement, the audio editing and camera work are the work of someone who possesses vast knowledge in not just the field of media but also RP as a whole and comes close to professionals! Counting the ongoing GTA RP series, we've had a pedal-to-the-medal run starting from the Manny's stream onward. The content's been on the high, in the sense of we caught our jester in the right trick of light. Regardless of when there are down moments when the creative juices run out, you aim to do your best in every situation which makes you more human. On the topic of the Game Awards, my own personal highlight was Lorien Testard, Alice Duport-Percier and Victor Borba's performance of Renoir's boss theme "Un vie à t'aimer" (French; translates to "A life to love you" which just increases the pain factor). While I was unable to watch any sort of livestream of the event I caught the clip of it on Twitter and it would be no exaggeration when I say I almost bawled in the office listening to that. The performance struck me to my core, paired with the petals from the Gommage falling I was broken. Resident Evil 9's looking to be a contender for most anticipated game next year, with it releasing in February I think we are setting the bar high already as well as with all the other games presented! Concering Expediton 33, the game sweeping the awards and winning what they could made me so happy and beyond that I feel the disregard thrown towards it as seen on Twitter is unwarrented. But that's Twitter for ya. As far as I'm aware, the game was developed with a limited budget going so far as to receive government funding, Lorien Testard was hired off of a forum with no prior qualifications of having composed game soundtracks ever and lest we forget the studio consists of 33 employees (thus giving the game the iconic number for the name). It's such a love letter to existing RPGs and 100% my game of the year, the studio poured their heart and soul into creating it. Them winning was wholly deserved, it goes to show they can keep up with Triple A game studios while keeping the game as accessible and affordable as possible (often times priced lower!), offering free content too! That said, someone hire you for making a version in your Gavin Bett'ol accent, I need to hear Verso in that for the laughs and I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Funny you mentioned Christmas being on a Wednesday before realizing your calendar potentially switched that up, in Germany where I live Christmas is on the 24th and as such I nodded along to you talking. Have to agree on gaming tailers needing a cut-off point for release dates. While the time crunch has got to be taxing to no end with uncertainties connected, it would make more sense to me to have a first trailer show a potential release year before moving on to settle on a more specific kind of timeframe. Back to Resident Evil and Leon, I liked your idea of making it the best of both worlds through an old, worn out Leon who freshens up midway through the game. Would be in favor of having him stay as old the entire time, it'd show time left its scars on him. Movie talk was fun to listen to as well! Animated movies or books vs. their live action adaptations are two horses of different colors, often times the latter never lives up to the quality of the original medium. With exceptions as we have learned here! For me, the Sonic movies are definitely up there. Even the 3rd one had an interesting spin to me on the "ultimate lifeform" thematic, with its own interpretation of the events of the game! Though I can definitely see wanting to expand on the psychological aspect of Gerald Robotnik's attempts of creating a cure for Maria and the whole happenings behind that. I was hoping that Hades2 won something and that Clair Obscur got game of the year. So i was very happy. Top that with Divinity coming back!!! Was an awesome game awards. You really should play Control! It has awesome characters, and creepy scps, but more active gameplay than Alan Wake games. Force grabbing things was so fun, and imo better than in star wars games.
