it would have been hilarious of the French bit wasn't just at the start of the game and CC just spoke French the entire stream. Also i dont think wearing a bikini isn't much of an issue when you have other things to worry about like the end of the world

37:14 "canard" does usually mean "duck" but it's also a dated colloquial word for "newspapers", especially ones of mediocre quality or reputation. Still a few newspapers did come to use it as their name, and "Le canard éclairé" is probably a parody of "Le canard enchainé", France's oldest (more than a century) satirical newspaper.

I'm so excited to see you playing Expedition 33, you were on the top of my list for people I wanted to see play it after I finished the game, just for your reactions to the music alone.
