THIS WAS SUCH A FUN GAME!! i was actually playing alongside you today and had a blast ;w; as for the VOD QUESTION!! Favorite word: i like the word "sepulcher" which is a kind of tomb or grave marker. i heard it once in a video game and the way the voice actress said the word has stuck in my mind and made it such a pretty word to me! Weirdest/Most obscure word: "Poolish". A poolish is a pre-fermentation dough used in baking bread. Developing bread flavor takes a long time, so what some chefs do is make a 'preferment' mixture to help facilitate more yeast and gluten development. It's made with equal parts flour and water with some of the yeast in your recipe, and you let it ferment for as long as you need to before combining it with your other ingredients!

VOD question at 3:41:00 What is your favorite English word and what is the weirdest English word you know? Oh. Boy. HOWDY. As an English major, I was BORN for this question!~ I don't have one specific favorite word, but I have a lot of rare words that I adore, so here's a list of them~ Cantankerous: Another word for grumpy or cranky. Shenanigans: To make mischief. Apparently it translates to, "To play the role of the fox" Erinaceous: A word for when someone/something looks like a hedgehog. Portmanteau: A combination of two words mashed together to make one word. Confuzzled: A portmanteau of "Confused" and "Puzzled" Extemporize: To do something with no preparation or planning. Basically rare word that's a synonym for improvise. Hoatzin: It's a really smelly bird from South America. Their babies have claws on their wings that fall off as they grow up!~ Pandemonium: Absolute chaos. It comes from the name of the capital city of Hell in John Milton's classic "Paradise Lost"! Bear: Apparently the word for bears was a placeholder word because at some point in history, saying the real word for bears was a taboo. However, people used the placeholder word so much that once the taboo went out of fashion, the placeholder still stuck and that's why we call bears bears!~ And last, but not least... Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia: The fear of very big words.

Thank you for the amazing stream yesterday! I had fun coming up with words with you and the Hakkitos! 💜 Although, I'm sorry if I ended up backseating a bit too much, I might have gotten too locked in on the game. For the VOD question! My favorite English word would have to be unique. It's something of a holdover from elementary school when we were taught how to do acrostic poems and since my government name has a U in it, I was shown unique before any other U word, and it got cemented into my vocabulary. As for the other part of the question, I'm not too sure I've got a most obscure/weirdest one. The word that did pop into mind when you asked was loquacious ("talkative"). I think it best suits streamers, I love listening to you guys talk 💜💜

And your conversation with Vain was so funny (2:34:36) Vod question of the day (3:40:59): I don’t know if I have a favourite English word, but I like to learn about etymology a lot and one of the words that I find interesting in that way is “apple”. Apparently, apple used to refer to any fruit or fruit tree, but now it belongs to one specific fruit. I guess that from an English perspective the apple was the platonic ideal of a fruit, or the fruit mascot. Its identity is literally “fruit”. As for an unusual English word, I’m not sure if it’s that unusual of a word but I remember being surprised that it exists: “submechanophobia”, the fear of human-made things that are at least partially underwater. It made me realize that I’m not alone finding things like that terrifying!
