Now to play Control(2019), which is next in-universe, don't fall for the Alan Wake 2 trap, its like going from KH1 to KH2 without Birth By Sleep or Chain of Memories.

So fun fact: In the original version of this game, there several ads for Verizon phones and Energizer batteries which you use to power your light. The remastered game removed all traces of the ads.
