Such a beautiful game, cried a bunch while playing it and somehow still cried while watching you play it.The vet scene and torwards the end of the game really hit me the hardest. I lost the dog I was able to call my best friend just 2 years ago and this game made me miss his presence so much

I've never owned a pet myself, so I didn't fully get immersed in a lot of the story beats. However, I do understand the unconditional love that exists between pets and their owners, and it's always heartbreaking when a pet passes away. Over the years, I've comforted many friends through their losses. I'm grateful that the developer created this game as a heartfelt tribute to his own dog; it was a touching gesture that captures the deep emotions shared by all pet owners.

This game was cute but suprisingly emotional, i Had to think about my dog that died 4 years ago. I think everyone who ever had dogs or pets in general can relate with the sadness when we have to say goodbye.

Somehow, someway, I didn't cry during this. But it's no exaggeration to say this was one of the most physically painful streams I've seen. This is because of me trying not to cry. The effort of that left me with both a chest and headache. Both of which lasted for hours afterwards. First off, I want to thank you for streaming this game Shiori. This was truly a beautiful, heart wrenching experience. Your emotional intelligence was on full display, which is par for the course when it comes to these type of games. It's one of your biggest strengths. And one of the things I admire most about you. But, it's also a bit of a catch 22. While I love seeing your emotional intelligence on display, seeing you cry is really painful. I expected it to happen, based on what others said, but physically hearing it, I wanted more than to pat your head and tell you it would be okay. Of course, I couldn't do that physically and could only do it digitally, but I'd like to think the intent is what matters there. This isn't anything to do with the updated tracking, since it's been a thing before, but even if you don't physically cry (though you did here), watching your eyes gives us insight into how you're doing emotionally. You don't normally blink a lot, but this changes when you're either crying or fighting back tears. In those instances, you blink, a whole lot. So your eyes sort of become a tell. And, well, I don't have to be a mind reader to say you blinked a whole lot. This game was truly beautiful. I love animals. I've had cats, dogs, snakes, rats, hamsters and a rabbit as pets over the years. So I've been through losing a pet moreso than most. Some were lost to illness, some old age, some coyotes, some unfortunate accidents, like house fires. But none stuck with me quite like being 6 years old and watching someone intentionally veer 2 tires off-road to hit my uncle's dog. It..was ended on impact. And the person responsible was never caught. I don't wanna seem like I'm trauma dumping, but it does fit the theme, and is a good illustration of showing how I empathize with both you and the animals and owners in the story, particularly the vet. I just... kept crying then. Both in grief, and in fear of my uncle, whose way of venting involved throwing a cinder block against the trailer wall repeatedly. Thankfully this time, there was a happy ending. And honestly not one I expected given everything.

3:25:54 this scene was the saddest to me. At one point in my life, I considered trying to become a vet. But then I remembered that I wouldn't be able to handle putting down animals or diagnosing a fatal disease. People with the strength to do that, who love animals and love taking care of them, I think they're the best people. When you told us about the Sprinkle situation, it filled me with warmth knowing that you were someone like that. Someone who would see a cat in need and figured "I can take care of this creature." I love animals, but I especially love dogs. And the thing I loved most in this world was my dog, who we had to put down five years ago. That was the most difficult thing I've ever had to do. This game delved into some sad topics, but I think it inherently isn't sad. I mean, I was crying for like half the stream, but I think, more than anything it is a beautiful game that is full of love. I don't have too much to say with this stream. What is there to say? Thank you for playing this game, it didn't hurt like I thought it would. I hope you take care, I hope you love your cats, your family, your friends. I hope the best for you, always. <3

Thanks for the playthrough Shiori! A charming game with a touching story. The operating table brought back vivid memories from only a year ago. I haven't cried this hard in a while. I'd like to place this game with my niece sometime.

Thank you for the journey Shiori. I thought I could handle it the second time around, but watching you play it gave me more time to absorb some themes. It's just a bittersweet story with a lot of tragic pieces that act as a prelude for where the characters/dogs inevitably end up. It gave an odd sense of comfort though, although it made me sad to think of my pets waiting for me. The bits that got me the hardest were the vet's backstory and the end bits where we saw how Bong-gu died and when they reunited with their dad at the end. I volunteered at a local shelter for a bit over a year when I was in highschool and it made me quite sad at the reality a lot of veterinarians face. There is a lot of happy bits to witness, such as spending time with new animals and getting them warmed up to their new environment and seeing them get adopted. It broke my heart when I would see some animals in there for months at a time, or pets that were unfortunately too sick to be rescued from when they were found. Its a field I have a lot of respect for, but I think it would weigh too much on my conscious for every animal I couldnt save. I was glad the game ended on a happier note though, it makes me happy to hold onto hope that I will see my pets again one day. I hope you are okay too, the general themes of this game can make anyone cry, but it definitely hits a lot harder if you have pets of your own you have lost Take care Shiori, and thanks again for going on this melancholic, but bittersweet journey with us

i had a chihuahua named Kahlua for 10 years and one day i came home she wasn't home (this was in 2018). i think she died because she was unhealthy but my grandparents always just told me that she ran off on her own to this day... i still miss her but i've had a new baby chihuahua Bella since 2019 and i babied her so much to the point that i'm p much the human that she runs to hehe. i still baby her to this day and i dont think i wanna change that

After rewatching the VOD, I appreciate how this game was able to express how dogs end up passing away using all the flashbacks to help us better understand what dogs and pets in real life go through. The vet and puppy scenes hit me the hardest because of how dark they were… I don’t personally own a pet, but my uncle owns a dog named Panda who I’ve been chill with (although recently hes been starting to bite at ppl, including me, which I don’t think is his fault) and it makes me happy that our family is able to give him a safe and caring life he needs. I also hope the game’s storyteller’s dog is living it good while they wait
