First time finding the stranger is always so mindblowing the moment you enter the cloaking field in complete silence and then the eerie music starts when you get close to the landing bay, finding the new language then then the drop with the raft to reveal that you are inside a ringworld. Just chefs kiss.

I'm glad she got to experience bonking the satellite at least once. It's like a right of passage for the DLC That's also the first time I've seen someone find the hidden chamber after the dam broke, can't wait for episode 1 Nimi to be confused as to why it's closed off next time AHHHH, I'm so excited for this playthrough!!!

I never knew the sattelite had a DISPLAY WITH THE ANGLE on it, I was sitting on the other side of it, waiting, and never saw the display in my playthrough oh this will be a great lets play

I remember watching a very special let's play of The Outer Wilds while I was very sick and my wife was in the hospital. In and out of sleep and aching with my cats for company, I sat and enjoyed the fun as mysteries were unraveled even rewatching sometimes to catch the beauty of exploration and see the solutions to puzzles. Thank you for this generous auto feeding, Nimi, I'm happy to watch my favorite streamer in the new year!

I said it before, I'll say it again. Those let's plays bring me back, man... Youtube changed so much, I suppose I did too. I don't know when that genre died, but I feel the young me died with it. The one that got excited seeing a notification from a youtuber I enjoy, playing a game I like. Just that, no chat, no challenge, no whatever. It was the youtuber and the game, and I remember it so fondly. When I first saw the outer wild let's play dropped, and I heard you say it was offline, it's like I was back to the old me. That playthrough is probably going in my "nostalgia" playlist now. I'm not an avid listener, more of an occasional one, but I can't thank you enough for sticking with your streams (I'm french so sadly, I don't watch them live), and those occasional throwbacks to the old youtube you make. I can tell you're part of that internet culture by your comments, your references, your videos, etc. I think that's what makes you one of the last youtuber of the old format that I still follow. I grow older, more responsible, and perhaps I'll soon be a father, but you made me happy as a child today. Rereading it, that comment was all over the place, but it was pretty heartfelt, so I dont know how to express it any better. English being my 2nd language probably doesn't help. I'll say it differently. Thanks for the video Nimi, keep being you, you're great, and happy new year 🎉

I'm unbelievably excited for this playthrough man, there's something about a tapir slowly discovering things and getting immersed in a world that makes me happy Also, past Nimi was so robbed with the timing on that dam break. She just wanted to watch a movie

Good puzzle solving to make your way to the DLC! Bumping the satellite is a ritual of passage and I'm pretty sure you can find it like how you were trying to at first even! The cinematic opening to the DLC became a core memory of the game since playing it, it's so scifi .And yes, getting your movie night ruined by rain is a classic outer wilds moment too. You got an interesting theory cooking and I'm excited to see what future exploration uncovers! ::)

this is actually really exciting to me, because i've never seen the dlc. the person i watched alongside back in the day stopped basically at the point you ended todays episode. so everything will be new and exciting. love you, nimi and looking forward to you solving this mystery (and also simultaneously hoping we do and dont get another WHS incident)
