I'm so sad I missed this stream on my plane ride home and didn't get to chat about all the fun I had on this trip with the Merakyats Anyway I had such a great time, my life is kind of a mess right now but getting to see a new place, try new things, and hang out with so many great people really helped, and I owe it all to you that I've been able to meet them. There were so many more things I wanted to see and try in Indonesia so hopefully I'll have a chance to go back 🙏 I probably won't have the PTO to try for Fes this time but I have no regrets, this trip was incredible and it was so much fun going to a convention where there was more Reine merch than I could even find, let alone buy, after struggling to find things at other conventions. It also made me really happy when the ID Merakyats told us they were happy to have so much Merakyat representation at CF this year. Blessing and curse of being such a worldwide fandom I suppose. I know a lot of things would be simpler if we weren't spread to the four corners of the earth but I wouldn't trade our community. I was so happy I got to talk to you in the meet and greet, sorry I didn't have anything interesting prepared. I hope the letter I brought reaches you, I stuffed it with all the annoying sappy stuff I couldn't say out loud. Some of us were actually really emotional after the dinner at Remboelan and we had some talks about how much it means to us to be able to come together and cheer for you and what the Merakyats community means to us. I've changed a lot for the better (mostly lol) since I became a Merakyat, and that's of course thanks to you, but also thanks to meeting some wonderful Merakyats in the community who taught me how to be a better fan and a better person. Even though I still have a lot of growth to do, I saw on this trip how far I had actually come.
