I seem to have some bad boon curse with Poseidon. I spent like my first 40 runs avoiding him and taking Ocean's Bounty because extra gems was better than whatever else he brought. Maybe the same curse has struck you now.

Some of the NPC stories, like Orpheus and Eurydice and Achilles and Patroclus, are like fanfic sequels to what happened in the myths. Greek mythology had a lot of sad broken couples but we're getting them all back together

I wasn't going to buy the new Elden Ring since I don't have anyone to play with, but it looked really fun so I got it. Something felt deeply wrong when one of the characters spoke with an American accent, but liking it so far
