Idk if it was stated in the vod yet, but I think I can answer most of the questions brought up at the beginning. There are both normal women and umamusume. The Uma's have Uma mothers that appear in the anime, and Teio mentions her dad when used as the home screen chara. So, yes the horses do get married and grow up, but for gameplay reasons, the main cast are all forever highschoolers.

In the lore if a woman gives birth to a girl there's a small chance it will be a horse girl also for horse girls if they give birth to a boy it will be 100% human there's no male horses in this but you can tell the real life horse gender by the accessories on there ears if its on there right ear its a stallion if its on the left ear its a Mare in real life but theres 1 horse girl with even accessories on both ears so you know what kind of horse it was in real life.

I don't know if you'll see this but you're chat gave a lot of misinformation regarding the horse girls. The biggest being they can't marry. It's stated in the anime and even in certain stories in game they can marry. I don't know why some of you in chat said they can't lol. Creator themselves even stated it

Uma musume's are a genetic mutation that affects girls so 2 humans can breed a umamusume or human and umamusume can produce a umamusume. Special Week's story in the anime her uma mom died after childbirth and was raised by a human

Basic lore dump: Uma's and human men can marry and have kids. The girls are Uma, and the boys are human. The three goddesses references the original three stallions that founded the thoroughbred horse racing breed. Eclipse was probably the most famous of the three, and he was famous for his speed, stamina, and being a complete jackass. Gold Ship would have been proud of his grandsire. The way races were done back then (early 19th century), they were about 6.4 km, and done in legs. If you were 240 yards or more behind the first horse when they crossed the marker, you were disqualified. Eclipse often didn't have to run the last leg, he just blew his competition that far out of the water. Hence the school motto, "Eclipse First, the Rest Nowhere." According to legend, there were divine portents that heralded the birth of the original three umamusume to human mothers, so all uma's are descended of those three. There are also no true horses as we know them in this world, so this world's Genghis Khan must have been an Uma Amazon. Tracen Academy was described in the manga as a combo middle and high school, as well as an adjoining college. To no one's surprise, their big focus is athletics, both training racers, and they also have a really good kinesiology and physiotherapy program. And like actual race horses, their careers do tend to be fairly short. Irl, a lot of horse races are age specific, so many horses will have one chance only to compete in a given race. This led to a funny bit with Haru Urara. The horse was always a contender, but never won a race in her career. However, when they held a race for the retired horses, Haru handily won, as she hadn't declined as quickly as her peers. This also marks the first stream of yours I've watched, and it was fun. Going off the vibes of the boss, I think Air Shakur may be right up your alley.
