Hearing Nerissa talk about anime from my childhood hit me hard in the nostalgia. I ended up reading a lot of Shoujo manga because it was popular and that's what was available for me to read, so hearing Nerissa liked skip beat was really heart warming. I heard the anime didn't do too well because it was aired late at night in Japan when it's main audience was asleep and then cancelled. I never forgave the Japanese for the injustice of it

I really love when you talk about older shows Rissa. It really takes me back. I still have those Bandai America Limited Edition Sets of Haruhi and Lucky Star that actually came with the character song CDs. I hope that people who didn't know the shows that were brought up will check them out. They don't make them like they used to. Thanks for bringing up good memories and good times from the past.

call me crazy but i feel sousei no aquarion can also be interpreted as a song about a mother and her child. Listen to it again with this in mind. The biggest part i have to support what im saying is when she sings (rough translation) "even when you grow up and go far away, i will watch over u, without sleeping even if i become dust" as someone that hasnt seen my mother in years, i cannot sing this part at all.

Your talk about anime merch sellers not selling their anime merch oversea; cause they think it's not profitable was so relatable. It's so frustrating that some of the anime merch you want to buy are Japan Only. You will have to travel to Japan, for anime merch that's not available oversea.
