X(female) chromosomes are slower but more resistant Theoretically, if intercourse occurs when the egg is traveling through the fallopian tubes, the possibility of Y sperm reaching it before X sperm is higher. The opposite would be theoretically more likely. There are no studies that validate this theory because it is so close to eugenics and ethical complaints. But as my girlfriend said, the result isn't that important if the attempts remain fun.
