This VOD question is actually pretty tough for me since I don’t really watch movies too much…but Spirited Away is pretty memorable for me since I saw it as a child every Sunday after church~

So I answered this in the last vod question lmao but my favorite movie of all time is Nausicaa: Valley of the Wind. If you haven't watched it, it is a super old Studio Ghibli film but it is FANTASTIC. Please watch. (Also gonna hype up Castle in the Sky since it's my #2 of all time.)

Vod question: I have so many favorite movies… but rn I’m gonna pick Coraline to talk about!! Many people say they used to scared of it as children but I’ve always been fascinated by it, the stop motion is gorgeous and the story is so intriguing super iconic!!!

Thank you for the art stream! sleep well and good luck tomorrow! 5:44:30 VOD question of the day My recommended movie is "Scent of a Woman" (1992). It depicts the relationship between a blind veteran who is pessimistic about life and a struggling student who ends up working part-time as his helper. I really like the way the film depicts the changes in the distance, pacing, and intimacy between the two characters. It's a very touching film. (I hope one day I'll be able to watch movies in English only.)

Ty for another cozy and fun art stream Sir! 5:44:30 VOD question Mine is a toss up between the first Ghibli movie I saw (Princess Mononoke), and another Ghibli film I adored so much I read the book adaptation of it! That is Howl's moving Castle! to round it out with a third one of my favorite: Spirited Away! Fun fact: The first time I saw it was in Japanese cause a while ago when I took Japanese lessons: one of our assignments was to watch Spirited Away (we were allowed to have subtitles on to better retain the information of what was said btw)

VOD answer for Hakka-sama!: There is a lot and it honestly depends on a lot of factors (If it live action, genre, base off of a thing ect). So I am just gonna list them off. Favorite Old-Fashioned Movie: Clue (the 1985 black comedy mystery one) that one was mostly improvised with many funny moments. I kid you not, this movie is hilarious. Favorite Horror Movie: Bride of Chucky. I... There isn't much I can say about that one. Favorite Parody: (this one is a long name but stay with me.) Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood. If you know, You know. If you do not know, go watch it. it even funnier if you are watching your friend's reaction to this movie. (Not for kids though.) Favorite Stop-motion Movie: Corpse bride. That movie is the embodiment of how I view life and death, it is a dark story base off an actual tale but it still gives you a very important lesson. Favorite Romance movie: The Book of Life. Despite the label calling it a Adventure Fantasy. The whole message about the movie is about Love in general and fighting for that said love regardless if it just a dream, a person or the meaning behind it. Favorite Laika Movie: All of them are amazing but It's a tie between Kubo and the two strings/Coraline. dark stories, compelling way to tell those said stories. Favorite Anime Movie: Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow. I kid you not, this movie was the very first exposure to Anime and Naruto by pure accident and It changed me. I think I said enough. Enjoy your break!!

2:14:55 Ok, noted...?🟣 5:44:30 VOD question of the day: What's your favourite movie? I don't really watch movies much, though if it's something live-action I "recently" watched and enjoyed immensely, it's Wonka (2023). If it's a Ghibli movie I don't mind watching again it's either Princess Mononoke or Laputa: Castle in the Sky.
