Kiara Saint Helena is a remote island in the Atlantic Ocean where Napoleon was sent to die on. Basically, you're sending Kobo and Biboo to a small rock with only about 4000 people on it and forcing them to get home without a plane. Is that okay?

The series has an overall storyline but individual games are mostly self-contained, so don't worry and enjoy yourself! I 100% it already and had fun!
