VOD Answer: You actually became one of my oshis after watching you for a bit, and I realized I hadn't seen many streamers that have as much fun as you do. I even told my friends how much I liked seeing you genuinely enjoy streaming and how you can tell he's smiling almost all the time. It's the kind of positivity I've appreciated a lot. Very contagious. You have fun, so we have fun. Who wouldn't oshi someone like that? 💜

How did Hakka become your oshi Sorry for the long message... It started when I came across Hakka's tweet on For You about getting her wisdom teeth removed. After reading it, I thought, "Wow, how could someone write about going to the dentist in such an endearing way?" So I followed his Twitter account. Initially, I only watched live streams of Thai VTubers, but I became interested in Tempus after encountering Altair in their REPO collaboration live stream with Daca. I started watching Altair's streams a bit, and around that time, they had a gala outfit live stream, so I watched their host-themed karaoke live streams. The first Hakka live stream I watched was the suit-themed karaoke live stream. I liked his singing, laughter, energy, and his fan service, so I continued watching his live streams after the karaoke one. At that time, I didn't even know what zastu was, but I gave it a try. To be honest, I didn't think I'd be able to watch foreign VTubers because my English isn't that good. I've listened to many before, and while I somewhat liked them, listening to English for too long always tires my brain, so I always close the stream before it ends. But with Hakka's zastu livestream, I was able to listen and actually enjoyed it. I listened straight through the entire stream and realized, okay, I guess I'm going to like this purple bird too Due to the time zone difference and only starting to watch him after almost 3 years since his debut, I haven't been able to watch many real-time live streams. I've been watching old live streams, clips, and listening to his cover songs, and I've gotten into drawing fan art. I was a little hesitant about tagging my fan art because I feel like I'm stuck in the past and not drawing him from a recent event. But I thought that random fan art in the tag wouldn't bother anyone, so I started drawing and posting it in the fan art tag, which was met with a lovely welcome from the Hakkitos. I drew five pictures of Hakka, and the notification on Twitter shocked me – Hakka followed me?!!! Then another notification said the pictures I drew were thumbnails!!! Even better, he called my name on stream! (Even though he couldn't pronounce my name and just called me Piwi, that was cute and I'm totally okay with it!) After following VTubers and drawing fan art for almost three years, this is the first time I've felt like I've met a VTuber who likes my fan art, which made me incredibly happy! I like your enthusiasm, your idol-like spirit, your effort, your dedication, your attentiveness. I like that you love this work. And I like the sense of security you give by saying you'll see this work to the very end. That makes me want to watch you through to the end as well. ( lurkerkkito)

otsu hakka ! vod answer: i had already been into stars since about 4 months after HQ's debut in 2022 and when they announced vanguard in early january i was obviously interested. you weren't my favorite right as you were *announced* but of course i had respect for you and was excited for debut nonetheless. but as the days reaching to debut started to crawl in, you really ended up piquing my interest more often (it was the spanish lol). then debut happened i messed with your aura you streamed (and still stream!!) at a good time in my timezone and the rest was history!! everything just kinda lined up there were another few factors. you don't understand how drawable you are. give your mama a big kiss when you're able. seriously once you conquer the hair bananas at the top you can conquer the WORLD. not even my kami-oshi and i know how to draw you like a sleeper agent bro. also i read what management puts on your pages on the holostars website and someone had pointed out the corrupted hand (i don't think i even noticed it during the debut pv) and i was like "hold on. let holostars management cook." also give management a kiss while your at it because that has spawned like the sickest pieces of fanart under your tag that are in my bookmarks. w management can't believe i've been here for 3 years (4 counting when i became a starmin o_o). ty for being awesome for the better half of 3 years but also i take it back because i'm listening to the part of that stream where you made that very awful tweet at like midnight est. the "banger" sorry bro you gotta earn it back thats just my rules 💜🐦⬛

re: vod question: oh my god. how does one talk about this without tearing up SDFGHG it was around a time when i was getting more into vtubers till i came across the MV for raven's paradigm by chance and got HOOKED into it at first listen (followed by the release of living ghost is alive a few days after), then came to learn more and more about vanguard and tempus. i was still a lurker back then because i kept up with vtubers way more casually, but it changed after the fated menshi opening stream. oh boy that was the stream where everything took a complete 180 degree turn LMAOAO so i'd pretty much come for the music initially and stayed for the beautiful person that also happened to release said music. seeing you talk so earnestly about your long-term dreams (especially the one about opening your own cafe) and being so unafraid of showing vulnerable sides of you resonated with me so deeply that i wanted to watch you grow and achieve every single one of your goals. it's even crazier to look back on these 3 years considering where we are now - throwing curses upon each other ASFGHD but truth be told, i still wouldn't trade this experience for anything, and it feels so gratifying to have become your hakkito still in this lifetime. so thank you not only for being here, but for also allowing us the honor of being here for you the happiest 3rd anniversary to you and vanguard, and here's to many more years to come!

How did Hakka became my oshi? Well I was already watching Holostars JP for a while, I became a huge fan of uproar but became a bit difficult following Japanese streams. When TEMPUS debuted I was excited, but none of the boys really did a click for me, then came a little birbo who spoke Spanish, and I admit I was one of the skeptical he was actually xenokunian (sorry, I had been jebaited before) but then he started talking and all my fears went away. For the first time I actually felt like supporting someone so hardworking and felt the kinship to watch him succeed, maybe because deep down I also hope I can achieve my dreams too as he has done. You truly are inspirational Hakka, hope nothing but the best for you and to the many years to come.

your art streams are always so silly and so much fun, thank for another great stream! for the VOD QOTD 6:27:24 - how did hakka become my oshi? although i knew about hq just before debut, i was still a super casual clip watcher back then, so much so that i completely missed vg's debut and only learned you guys existed a few months later. a few months after /that/, i saw a clip of you singing and thought "damn, this guy's got some pipes, does he have any covers?" went straight to your channel to see and clicked immediately when i saw "original song". not even a minute in to listening to shattered wings for the first time and i knew i wouldn't be rid of this purple guy for awhile. (i literally thought to myself "oh no" before i'd even got to the screamo part hahaha) still tho, after weeks of watching clips, being so entertained by how funny you guys were, i was still a super casual fan (even if you guys were living rent free in my brain already), so even after learning the term "oshi" i didn't really consider my self a fan in that way. so i wouldn't have called anyone my oshi yet. the first stream i ever caught live all the way through was your post release zatsu for your my roar cover. the way you described your process for making covers was so fun and entertaining, and your passion for singing and doing music was so memorable that i ended up watching more and more streams over the next few months. then, during tempus week that year, after seeing how much passion and hard work and dedication and everything all of you guys put into what you do, i said "f it, you know what. im a tempura now. im gonna support these guys as much as i can for as long as i can." if anyone had asked, i'd've said "yeah, banzoin hakka is my oshi." few months later, one stream in december, when you talked about your oshi mark, about WHY you wanted to be an idol, being a little light in the darkness, inspiring people the same way you were, and how that hit me, i thought "oh, wait. is this what people mean when they call someone their kamioshi? i get it now". from your incredible voice, to your silly sense of humor, to your passion for what you do, being so open-minded and unafraid to show your emotions, your hard work and dedication to being an idol and inspiring others. thank you for being our shining star, our little sun! im so happy to be here, and i can't wait to celebrate 3 years with you and the boys! love you, hakka!

I LOVE how silly and fun the screen looked by the end of this stream!! I also love the random memes you show us too when I see them out in the wild I think woah.. that's hakkas... I really like the idea of a time capsule of clips!! people on twitter are giving tips and making guides on how to make and share them so hopefully we'll get even MORE from now on!! thank you for using mine and tiffys art as a thumbnail heehee I love drawing with friends!! also you 🫵🏻 banzoin hakka become my oshi because you're so so funny. every stream is so unpredictable!! I love waking up to your loud instagram stories and tweets!! especially on zatsu and art streams when you get in the zone and just start chatting about anything at all. it's so funny!! I like how you have a lot to say and some of it is just. absolutely bananas. but I LOVE it. you're always making me laugh just by telling stories and reacting to things or teasing hakkitos and!! you have such a fun whimsical spirit that shines through in everything you do!! I really love how you say "I want to make a cake" or "I want to learn how to draw" or "I want to play with clay" and you just GO FOR IT and praise yourself as you go. I really admire that about you!! you give everything so much of yourself!! it's like you know how gloomy life can be sometimes you decided to be a shiny light for yourself and for every single kitto. that's very sappy to say but it's true. you give everyone so much love, you remember and notice so much, you said hakkitos could shrink so we could be on stage with you. I'm really happy you're here with us

6:27:24 VOD Question of The Day: How did Hakka become my oshi? I think I answered this before but I'll be happy to say it again. I didn't really start watching birbo until I randomly tuned into his Tower of Babel cover afterparty zatsu, and found that I liked his humourous bits. Then he became my oshi during the time when he babysat the Magmites and Vesties during Magni and Vesper's sudden absence, and he continued to take care of them for a little while after Magni and Vesper's graduation. (Which meant a lot as a former Magmite.) In my 2+ years of being a Hakkito, and seeing how kind and sweet and considerate birbo is to his community, I can say that birbo is my no.1 oshi! (Maybe even a kami?) I'm proud of the things he has achieved, and I aspire to be a good person like Hakka!

6:27:24 VOD QOTD : How did Hakka become your oshi? found vanguards first collab after debut on tiktok, and the caption said the live was still going on so i figured ‘okay yeah sure why not’ and decided to watch! but the first stream of yours i saw was the phogs collab where it started with promoting ur og song which was like “WOAHHHH” so u were on the radar for a while. but it wasnt until early-mid 2024 when i rlly got into this hakkito life cuz i kept getting gifteds so in my head its always been like the universe has been DRAGGING ME BACK TO THE NEST and lowkey its the best possible thing that couldve happened back then. so u becoming my oshi wasnt even really a conscious decision it was just a ‘been really into this guy lately’ turning into ‘ogoghgyhfhfh my idolllll😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭’ ok yap OVER happy anniversary week!

6:27:24 VODQTD: How did Banzoin Hakka become your Oshi. I need time to organize my brain to answer this but im so busy with lot of irl stuff and kinda feeling unwell and also i wanna post it before ur anniv (it's tomorrow!) so we just ball!~ FIRST OF ALL, I DON'T HAVE ANY VTUBER OSHI BEFORE YOU! I watched a LOT of vtubers, even more than now, as a casual vtuber watcher. I didn't think vtuber oshikatsu is for me tho i really respect those who do it (lmao im 'those' now). ~2years ago I started watching you casually for a while, didn't realized when i started to watch you more and more, and then I listen to your songs more and more, each time i told myself, he sound so very good the world need to know how good this guy is! and from clips and streams i know more about you - i genuinely want more people to know you & love you. Before I knew it, you're already my oshi, but I only realized it the day I joined your menshi... haha. (WTF I'M A PURPLE CHONKY BIRB ALL ALONG??!) Since then, you are and will always be my kamioshi! HAPPY 3RD ANNIVERSARY HAKKA! I MAY NOT BE HERE FROM THE VERY BEGINNING, BUT I WILL ALWAYS BE HERE TO CHEER YOU ON AND SUPPORT YOU! TO MORE ANNIVERSARY IN THE FUTURE!

6:27:24 VQOTD: How did Hakka become my oshi? Honestly, it was originally when you said you would take in the Magmites and Vesties in our trying time. I was a Magmite at the time and honestly even though I'd been here kind of part time since your debut, I kind of felt awkward about speaking up for a while because there were lots of people I didn't know. I'd do so every now and then (like your animal crossing streams lol) but then immediately after I would be like "I got perceived, I don't belong here", so I became a lurkerkkito for a long time. It was your consideration and sweet disposition that ultimately got me to interact more. You became my kamioshi when you lured me out full time. Thank you for being you. You're a good boy, Hakka. Additionally, timestamp for 6:29:11 --> If you accidentally close your chrome or firefox window that has a bajillion tabs (or even 2, idk your life) in it and you didn't mean to, hit Ctrl+Shift+T to reopen them. It can save your life. (ymmv with other browsers though because idk them)

6:27:24 VOD question of the day: How did Hakka become your oshi? I'm a little embarrassed to answer this here. I've talked about it with friends a few times, and I think I've even posted about it on X. But talking about it here feels a little like confessing my feelings to someone I like, so I'm a little nervous. - I watched VG's debut stream. I like the Spanish and Japanese OBAKE series. I was happy to see that he's so interested in Japan. I like his appearance and voice a little. (I didn't become an oshi this time because I don't speak English, and Hakka is taller than I thought, lol.) - I like Chiraz Art's Parasocial, so I watched Hakka's VOD. I don't understand English at all, but I thought his reactions were funny. - I listened to Hakka's original songs and cover songs, and I realized he's cool and I like him. - I watched a few VODs. - I started watching his streams occasionally. I sometimes commented on jokes. - WOMEN HATE ME PEG WANT ME. Hakka laughed at my comment. I love this about him. - One day, I saw Hakka crying as he talked about how grateful he was to Hakkito. It really touched my heart. - The jokes we exchanged when I joined menshi. I love small guys. I thought it was funny and cute how Hakka tried so hard to show how small he was. This is part of the process of Hakka becoming MY OSHI. I don't know when or where. The accumulation of these days has made me realize that "HAKKA IS MY KAMIOSHI" and has made my perception clearer. All of these things, from the past to the future, are why I support Hakka.

VODQTD: How did Hakka become your Oshi Whatever's wrong with you also reminds me of what's wrong with me and I vibe with that /j *explodes*💥 Confession time: I've actually been tempura since Vanguard debut but I often just lurked in some of your streams, usually Karaoke since you were into vocaloid and utattemita which I always looked forward to because they're something I've also been really into growing up I've always loved your voice & listened to your covers. I always found you funny from clips and collabs but I didn't really consider myself as a hakkito since I only lurked every now and then. I got busy with real life for a while, I was in a really terrible place then and only got back to watching Holostars last year. October was when I decided to spawn in and post art of you for the first time. I didn't think everyone would like it that much & that you would even mention it on stream It surprised me but made really me happy that you remembered my name. Your energy and personality, however is really what made me stay. Along with all the silliness, I truly admire how hardworking you are and how you always try your best to stay kind. I love that you always encourage people to chase their dreams like you do and you've fostered a community of hakkitos that shares the same values. You really are my Idol and I admire you a lot I want to be more like you despite the silly things I sometimes say. p.s. Pls never go bald you are so cool. I love you a lot birbo!!! And Happy 3rd Anniversary again to Vanguard!!!

VOD question: I remember checking your konbini corndog review stream and choo choo charles stream, but what turned me into a hakkito was one of your stardew valley stream 🤔 I was into that game at the time and you and hakkitos were so welcoming and funny that it made me feel at home immediately haha It was at a time when I almost didn't talk to anyone online/irl so I craved connections too 🥹 I'm glad my stardew addiction brought me here!! Tho I feel like any paths would lead me here anyways.....i got to experience butler hakka in real time so glad it wasn't later heh (please more butler hakka)
