To answer your question Boss at 5:12:23 , my profile picture isn't Venom Suwako. It's just Suwako wearing an eyepatch that looks like the one Big Boss/Venom Snake wear in VNo horn! So I guess a more accurate description would be Big Suwako Anywho, great stream today BossI'm so giddy with excitement for V. V can be a bit of a contentious game, to put it nicely, but I think it's still a wonderful game. It's so... Kojima, and even when at its worst, it's still so genuinely authentic, for a lack of better words, so it gets a pass. So much about it feels so meaningful. From map design, gunplay, and its cutscenes and dialogue, everything had thought put into it. That's what I mean by authentic. It holds up so well and still looks amazing. It was YEARS ahead of its peers. It genuinely looks like it could've been released yesterday, and no one would bat an eye. Controversial take from me, but what MGS1 is to the PS1, MGSV was to the ps3/360. It's helped keep MGS so culturally ingrained in online spaces. Ask the younger folks to describe the main character of Metal Gear, they probably describe Venom or Solid Snake. Granted, a non fan can't really tell Big Boss and Solid Snake apart, so something as big of a distinguisher as a horn is helpful. But who knows, maybe I'm just yelling at clouds.

Thanks for another great nostalgia trip with Ground Zeroes boss! Seeing all the references to the old games here on the DEJA VU mission but actually knowing what's going on is such a cool feeling and I got you to thank for that Minto! Turns out I never found all the game titles for that easter egg quiz so I still got to see something new today too! Seeing it now and answering all questions right on the normal one also felt pretty good, not gonna lie... 😤 Anyways, take your time to start V! As always, we'll be waiting for you boss! So, I MAY have stayed up until 2:30AM after a 7AM starting work day. Now normally this would be a mistake, but it was Minto playing one of my favourite game franchises so I would argue I did (borderline) nothing wrong. Totally worth it.

26 minutes in, and man these awfully shaky cameras during the cutscenes are getting to me... Really hoping they chill out a bit. I made it with no issues, thankfully. Thank you, Minto, for playing this and the side ops you did, and listening to the Paz tapes! It's rare to find someone that plays games the same way that I do (I also die my fair share) is really nice. I'm really looking forward to your playing of V!

Thanks for playing through Ground Zeroes! The main mission was way darker than I expected, but, after playing it myself, I can attest to how much fun it is! The deja vu mission was awesome too, I didn't know that existed Makes me want to go back and replay the other games! I wish Paz had a better end that what she got in this... And seeing Outer Heaven go down really stung... The 9 year coma between games is crazy too, I wonder how TPP will go Excited to see you continue the series!
