Thanks for the stream. Some friendly advice on how to prep for winter is to convert all your berries into wine. You'll need to build a fruit press and barrels to ferment them, and you'll need it in bulk because there's no other way to grow fruit in the winter. Fruit can also be preserved in porridge so long as you can seal crocks, and made into jam, however both require bees, which you haven't found yet. Fat can be used for sealing crocks too but try to use it to cure hide into warm fur clothing first, and even then it's best used to seal crocks of meat stew. Although if you manage to get chickens, they can give you a reliable source of protein over the winter. Finally, you'll want to stockpile sticks, charcoal, grass, and flax fibers. Nothing grows in the winter so you need a buttload of torches and flax fibers can be used to repair your clothing.
