You have to keep in mind, this game came out over a DECADE after DMC4 and after the kind of divisive "reboot" The reveal was SO HYPE The fact that the game is clearly a love letter to the entire franchise and lived up to expectations was basically everything the fans wanted at this point. Morrison and Patty are both *lesser known* characters and even they got some spotlight lol

I always knew Urizen was a character from Blakes poetry anyway... But I will now forever hate that guy in the chat who pointed out that Dante / V / Nero etc are calling him Urizen because V introduced him to Dante as "Your reason". I AM SO UNREASONABLY MAD.

33:12 So… did anyone mention there are the live action versions of the cutscenes to IRys 48:20 Morrison originally comes from the first DMC anime, with the Tony Redgrave inclusion being both an alias of Dante’s and is a deep cut reference to his prototype when DMC was originally conceptualized as a Resident Evil spin off

one cool thing is if there are these "co-op" portions where you see 2 playable characters, you can see if it says "Starring: etc", so either Irys' or DMC staff.

Reactions like this 2:39:00 are one of the reasons I was excited for this stream! Glad you like DMC5, devs attention to details, all these references to previous games and as you pointed you the fact how cinematic gameplay looks(not to mention interactions and dialogues between the characters, If I'm not mistaken they hired actually Author/writer for writing screenplay this time) still makes me torn between the DMC3 and DMC5 as my favourite in the series. Can't wait for next part! Otsu!

And on this one, it's a photo of Nero phoning someone with apologatic look with Nico facepalming in the background. I always assume it's Kyrie with Nico being like "duuuude, I was joking. Why are you apologizing for real" 😂😂😂

IRyS you don't have to go to the gym if you really don't want to. You can just exercise at home if you just want to get healthier and fit. Maybe get some dumbbells and a stationary bike so you can watch anime while you exercise

After finishing 3 other games in the series, we finally get to the the pinnacle, and oh baby, is it absolutely amazing. I feel the like the intro alone is worth witnessing for every single gamer out there. I'm glad IRyS is also having a lot of fun playing this, and so far there doesn't seem to be major difficulty spikes (*knock on wood*) where she could get stuck. I'm very much looking forward to the rest of the streams .
