it's okay poko! I quit Ds1 like 3 times before I got into the game for real! You had streamed for a long time and were tired, I think with a fresh sleep and mind you can totally kill these bosses!

I spent hours on this guy at the beginning also. Using the jellyfish summon was the only way I could do it. Helpful tip I didn’t learn until after: there’s a gold message thing to the right of the mist before you walk in. It’s a special NPC helper put there to help you get past Margit. Hopefully this is helpful because I had the exact same experience as you and I just started playing this game like 2 days ago lol

dude, you actually did pretty well for a first timer, this is just like how the game is. You went for 8 hours, obviously you're gonna struggle more the longer you go. Even my eyes are kinda itchy. make sure to get some rest

Your chat is giving you some bad advice knowing that you are playing this for the first time. Ignore the way grace is pointing- that's just for main story progression, you want to level early (and get higher Vigor for health, weapon stats don't scale for damage much early on). EXPLORE! Go to the caves and dungeons in the Limgrave areas for easy xp and items (face your fears, the caves and dungeons aren't that bad, just take them very slowly, fight one enemy at a time! You can do this! The mechanics will come as you play more, don't fret!

In my first playthrough of Elden Ring it took me Eight hours straight of fighting Margit to beat him, don't get too discouraged! You're doing awesome, really and truly.
