2:37:44 This relates to my general view that allowing a lot of immigration for the high-achieving and contributing members of another country isn't a good idea either; unless they are at risk from an oppressive regime, I would rather they stay in their country and help to improve it, ideally to the point where almost all of their citizens would rather stay there than seek a "better life" elsewhere. Poaching the best people from other nations eventually just makes things worse everywhere. On a similar note, I would also be more supportive of foreign students (studying useful degrees like medicine or engineering) if they also planned specifically to return to their nations and use what they had learned to improve them. I think that this could potentially be far better 'foreign aid' than most of what has been done for the past century.

Regarding the DNA-Test story: In El Salvador, Bukele passed a law that requires mandatory DNA-Tests from fathers *before* their name is written on the brith certificate. It's exactly what you desrcibed. Somehow noone is talking about it. Also, about paternity fraud: men gather resources for their own children and ONLY their own children. Raising another man's children is not just a waste of resources, it's counterproductive. He'd be spending resources on his own children's competition. Forcing a man to do that is beyond fucked up.

@1:15:33 46-47% ?! Why? What tax bracket are you in? You have your LLC(s) now right? You should be paying yourself around 195k a year putting you in the 24% bracket. Then you pay self employment taxes on yourself ~14%, then you take it self employment deduction, which subtracts 7% (so 24+7=31%) Then you add state tax, which hopefully is 9% or less. (31+9=40% max!) Then you have any excess money that doesn't fit within the 195k kept with your LLC(s). You opt in to have them taxed as a corporation and they will have a flat 30% tax rate. And you use your LLC money as often as you can for business expenses. Bonus points if you put your vehicles and property in the/a LLC. Then make a trust agreement that you have the right to "use" them. Then you can pay that LLC a cheap price to lease the property/cars. Then you can write off any maintenance on your home and vehicles as business expenses for the holding LLC. It's all still your money, and you're still using it on your items, but you will be getting taxed way less just for utilizing the LLCs and Trusts the right way.
