the library is genius because in one level you met the flood and soon after you learn that the halos kill everything to kill them. the library needed to be hell to convince you it's reasonable.

Fun fact: in halo 1, Chief was a Cyborg. The OG game manual refers to him as one. In the JP Dub, the VA voices him in a more monotone voice, and he has a robotic filter on his voice. Was retconned l8r
