sniffing and sobbing at this teeny tiny bean shaped phantom and his little bow tie!! matching with junior!! AAA!! junior trying to teach him how to be a good host was so so funny I'll be listening back to that forever to answer the vod question of the day - going outside for a walk or to visit somewhere nice helps me a lot. cos sitting in front of a blank canvas or just endlessly refreshing the internet where it seems like people can post all the time with no trouble is so bad for my brain. I hate that feeling of being stuck so much that I found some new hobbies to try! or I watch a movie, look at art books or manga with pretty designs! sometimes I'll try drawing things in that style or in friends styles too. Ive found that being away from the drawing area and doing something else really helps my mind wind down cos it's not thinking exclusively about what to draw and why is it not working. I also TRY not to draw things too often for trends or redraws unless I really like it cos otherwise it doesn't feel that fun for me. this year I want to try working on bigger illustrations with backgrounds and lots of fun details which helps me take my time a bit more!! I still want to share little doodles too course but I'm trying to take some of the pressure I put myself under off I'm always happy to see my friends art no matter when or what they post so I'm trying to be a bit nicer to myself too!! I hope your good news only gets better hakka!! I'll keep thinking good thoughts for you

thank you for the stream!!! i was late so catching up on the VOD also first time answering the VQOTD! what do i do when i have art block? I dont usually have art block because i always be having something to work on? It's more like a skill block/burn out that cause me to NOT want to create. In this time I would come back to draw silly doodle to ease myself up or touch grass and do other creative stuff like crafting/journaling and then come to drawing later. How i also stock up ideas to keep drawing is that either I listing out things I want to draw out when i have like spike of inspiration and then come back to it when i ran out of ideas. Most of the time artblock also comes from the fear of not having the ability to create what I imagine in my head so its important to balance drawing things for work, for fun; like a good chunk of serious art and some doodling without thinking i have to meet a certain expectation for art. Also one of my personal thing i often do is not having fear to post WIPs, art that doesn't look as good to beat the feeling i have to be professional, because in the end creative anything is to express yourself/reflect of your mood. So yeah,, the usual advice thats start creating things because it brings you joy first and once it feels like a chore, come back to think about 'why am i doing this?'. It feels freer to come back to find inspiration and the creative spark because its start from doing something you enjoy and want to express

4:20:35 VOD Question of the Day: How do you overcome art block? I found that I've managed to not get art block in a long time by having several art styles that I can switch to when I feel like it. (I have my normal artstyle, my cute art style, and sometimes i draw pixel art.) Though sometimes if I really am unable to find the drive/motivation to draw, (and I don't have any deadlines) I just take a break for the rest of the day or work on something that's not art-related. Sometimes taking a walk refreshes my mind enough to draw again. I do make it a point to not do any drawing on the weekend to prevent burnout and rest my wrists, though sometimes I end up drawing when inspiration strikes (or when I have a deadline, lol).

Vod Question of the day: What is your ritual to overcome creative block? (Writting) The first one I broke past it by just sending it (That is to say, I started posting online on my website of choice). Then afterwards it I follow the advice of the greater writers that came before me (On my website of choice), that is to say. Reading. Reading other works on my genre (LitRPG-fantasy). As to HOW TO GET FOCUSED ON ONLY ONE GODDAMNED SERIES AT THE TIME. To that one, I have no idea, please send help. I have 12 ideas in the backburner and only time to MAYBE write one or two.

Good luck on your health exam Hakka! VOD Question of the Day How do you overcome artist/creator block? When I'm struggling with anything creative, I take a bit of a break and focus on another hobby until I feel like I can jump back onto it.

Vod question: How I get pass blockage? As a dancer, when I feel lazy to practice or learn something new, I try to redirect energy like marking the choreo first.

I fell asleep near the end so I missed the question LOL VODQTD: How do you overcome artist block? Well, aside from crashing out and dying —💥 Jokes aside, I tend to do other stuff for a while like watching videos/MVs, reading manhwa /manga, playing games, or even just scrolling through Art on twitter or Pixiv. I basically let myself rest from drawing but still expose myself to a bunch of art because it helps the inspiration come back. Whenever I see cool art in general not just in the form of illustrations but also like music, games and stories really motivate me to create more. I also do note concepts that I want to draw and make in the future. I think rather than struggling to come up with things to draw I get beat up more by trying to get everything right at first. I often take too long working on a single artwork and I feel extremely bad for not consistently posting art I want to try to work more on that by posting more casual less rendered drawings and sketches because it really is just perfectionism kicking my ass. But whenever I get stuck on an artwork and I can't tell what about it is bothering me I usually just sleep it off and the day after I can actually see what parts that I felt off with. And If I really can't tell It usually helps asking other artists (shoutouts to my oneesans) for advice
