Update from guy-ish girl: I told him my feelings, and Mr. Kaelix was definitely right about the timing. He rejected me gently, and what's worse was that I found out he had a crush on me before I liked him. Fortunately, he said that us being best friends would never change and that "we'll always be peanut butter and jelly". Not very "happily ever after" manga-trope like ending, but I'm not upset about it.

update from the diva dating a streamer: he is A Lot worse than what I wrote down!!!! the way he treated me on stream was not even the half of it, compared to how he treated me off. i didn't mention this on the original post because i didn't think it was relevant, but he ghosted me! after a relatively risky, er... coital interaction. ANYWAYS, a few hours after, i texted him to talk about what happened and maybe set boundaries, since i wasn't fully comfortable with high risk situations like that. i tried to start the convo off lighthearted, but he didn't respond, and hasn't for multiple days. i talked about it with friends, but wanted some additional insight from others who had perspective as streamers. anyways, if he really wants to ghost me and waste my time, then LOL okay! listening to ver and kaelix's advice and commentary settled it. like the court eunuch said, we are graduating from the relationship!!!
