You may not be the biggest yaoi guy but you are a yaoi guy and that's enough for me you big softie Also, no it's not an old man thing, I'm older than you, over 30, been flying 3 round trips a year since 21 for at least 2 hours with turbulence almost every time and I don't feel queasy. My sister who already had slight car sickness now feels it a lot, it might be because you already had issues before that is now showing up more (maybe you ear thing? idk). Dw about it too much and take care by having meds before flight if you need to. Welcome back Betsy, looking for the silent week ahead, hope you take good care of your throat (is it bad that I like listening to your sick voice ). It's WiR Tuesday, settle in for a chill time as we delve into EVA and anime matters and what defines the finest of yaoi out there in the world! Foist things foist, enjoy KPop Demon Hunters when you watch it later! Seen it myself just a few days ago, liked it so much that I watched it twice in a row and immediately got my friends Purple and Alexis to watch it after me and we've been riding that wave ever since. Wholeheartedly recommend it, the songs in particular are incredible since they've taken inspiration from real life KPop bands. As for bands themselves, not too well versed in the arts of KPop, even so it's understandable thinking the boy band theme becomes repetitive whereas the girl bands bring in the variety. Often hard to find the hidden gems in a sea of crystals, being picky yields you great results in the end though! All the best for your throat, may it recover swiftly! Loved the bit of typing your replies in chat as the stream went on, your comedic genius knows no bounds. Going to try and section the talking points, starting with the airplane discussion. That fated flight being the one to bring you to your knees must've been horrifying to go through if it makes even you feel worse than normally... The last time bad turbulence of that kind struck me was on my first flight to Elysiumerica, I believe and we went through what would later become a series of hurricanes. Wild times! It continues to astound me how the pilots stay calm in these kinds of scenarios, I'd be writing my last will and testament at that point. Suppose that's a quality that comes with being a flight professional and you have to admire them for that, really. Next on the list: what else is new? Shinri's birthday was super fun, he created a clay fish figure on a handcam and the merch he released is so cool! Not to mention Tavi putting his all into the love song batsu, as expected of our maestro to go above an beyond for any and all music productions. He did mention the full version would be even longer! Now, for thoughts on EVA as well as anime and shows in general! Fun times listening to your takes on everything as someone who hasn't seen the anime, it's kind of saddening in a way when you can tell a show fell off the budget and stuff became rushed towards the end when everything beforehand was well crafted and had good pacing. Happens, nevertheless the quality of these early 2000s animes holds up and it's part of the charm! Nothing like introducing characters to the plot last minute either, it's as if you can tell they had this idea exactly in the finishing stages. Looking at those angels, they look sick! Ramiel is just a triangle though, that's something. With regards to anime, it makes sense wanting to read the manga in a select few cases. Often the anime completely suffices to grasp what takes place. Switching to TV shows Hannibal created a craze for sure, while it was popular online it never beat the big three for Tumblr which were Supernatural, Doctor Who and Sherlock Holmes (with Benedict Cumberbatch). Those were ever present during my Tumblr days, it got old quickly though and at some point I could not stand it any longer. In that sense, you dodged a bullet although the timeline where you fell into the rabbit hole does sound intriguing! And watching anime, then RPing in the corresponding games or any other one was all too familiar to me, you did not fully live until you've had shenanigans of that kind going on. This conversation leading to an in-depth yaoi categorization is not what I would have seen coming! With you regardless on the opinion that you should let it develop over time, similar to cooking a meal. Only when you put love and care into preparing it, do you know it will turn out flawless. And there is something to be said about incorporating the romance into the plot, it serves as an enhancement to the story without taking away from it. Which is something I appreciated greatly watching Severance, the old man romance between Irving and Burt was a tender moment of reprieve before the entirety of the series went off and blew my mind. Agent Stone and Robotnik in the Sonic movies on the other hand is heavily implied, one-sided as well. On the other hand, there's some fun to be had going for the first sight route as it leaves you with options to explore outside of a series and form your own headcanons. WiR continues its streak of being an educational source of information, this time with a lesson on levels of being seiso and unseiso with well based reasoning and distinctions therein! Tied together neatly with the beginning of swearing at a certain age talk, it either starts early or around highschool like in your case. Nowadays the words have lost their power, too commonplace which makes you miss the days when a bomb would set off the minute you heard a bad word in PG-13 media. Feel better soon Bettel! I use the softest hoodie I've got and just wrap it backwards like it's hugging me to cover my lower face and neck and I dip my face and breath into the hood for extra humidifying power (or at least if you're all wrapped up like that, maybe ppl will know not to talk to you, thus saving your voice/throat)
