Thank you for stream Hakka!!! I'mma timestamp some things and VQOTD below. 1:21:25 Pouring the filling into the crusts 1:58:08 Hakka giving Joe options for what he's going to bite into (avocado, lemon, potato) 1:59:00 Avocado bite (with small sound) RIGHT THROUGH THE SKIN 2:00:39 Potato bite, can't bite into lemon (too big) 2:01:13 Lemon bite 2:03:10 dead bee honey appears 2:12:49 Hakka can you slap me too pls (thank you) 2:22:24 Cheesecake has set! 2:24:45 - 2:26:35 Strawberry jam 2:30:35 - Taking our first bites of cheesecake (good cross section at 2:31:21 tho and 'say aaaah' tskr) (I don't have time enough to timestamp the rest what with the recipe conversion and stuff) 3:49:05 VQOTD: A recipe to try on a Hakkafe Special? I have a recipe for chocolate cookies with peanut butter chips that I make for Christmas every year! (I usually double the recipe because my roommates are monsters, but this is the single recipe) I'll do my best to put this in metric as well as Elysium units. Ingredients: 1 cup white sugar (198g) 1/2 cup brown sugar (107g) 1 cup butter (unsalted, softened) (2 sticks?) 2 eggs 2 tsp vanilla extract (not going to convert this, it's a 'measure with your heart') 2 cups flour (all purpose is good) (240g) 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (56g) 3/4 tsp baking soda (4g-ish) 1/2 tsp salt (2g?) 2 cups peanut butter chips (I hope you can find these) (340g? I think?) Procedure: Add the butter and sugar to stand mixer (or if you're swole, hand mix it). Mix until fluffy. Add 1 egg at a time + vanilla extract. In separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients. Add drys to wets. Mix. Add peanut butter chips. Adjust the amount of chips to your liking (I hope you can find them, I know they're probably an Elysium thing) Mix again. Refrigerate 2 hours or freeze for 30 mins. Scoop out with a spoon and roll into 1-1 1/2 inch balls. Preheat oven to 350F (176 C), bake for 14 minutes on cookie sheet or silicone sheet.

03:49:00 VOD question of the day * It's very long, so I translated most of it using a translation tool. If you're interested in Japanese cuisine, I'd love for you to give it a try. If there are any other recipes that interest you, I'll post the details on X or elsewhere. If you have the opportunity to stay in Japan, why not try making sushi? It would be interesting to mix Japanese rice with sushi vinegar to make nigiri sushi, norimaki sushi, gunkanmaki sushi, and other types of sushi. Since the ingredients are different from Xenokuni, it would also be good to make Japanese fried chicken, oyakodon, and more. Sushi🍣 Ingredients: Cooked rice / Sushi vinegar / Tuna or salmon, etc. / Roasted nori seaweed / Crab-flavored kamaboko (fish cake) / Cucumber / Tamagoyaki (rolled omelet) Recipe: Cook Japanese rice in a rice cooker / Mix sushi vinegar with rice to make vinegared rice / Gently form bite-sized balls of vinegared rice at body temperature / Add salmon or other toppings and lightly form nigiri. Japanese Fried Chicken🍗 Ingredients: Chicken thighs / Ginger / Garlic / Soy sauce / Cooking sake / Sesame oil / Chicken stock powder / Salt and pepper / Potato starch / Frying oil Recipe: Add chicken thighs Cut into bite-sized pieces. Mix all ingredients except potato starch and frying oil (you can knead with your hands). Coat with potato starch. Fry in 170-180°C oil. Once golden brown, it's ready. Oyakodon🐓🥚 Ingredients: Chicken thighs, eggs, onions, soy sauce, mirin, cooking sake, sugar, granulated Japanese dashi stock, water Recipe: Add seasonings and onions to a pot and simmer. Add bite-sized chicken thighs halfway through cooking. Pour beaten eggs into the pot, stirring frequently. Cover the pot and cook until the eggs are soft-cooked.

Thank you for the stream, Hakkaaa! I'm so happy about the strawberry cheesecake!! For the VOD question: thinking about what would be quick to make... maybe pancake art? Maybe it'll be like an art stream where you draw hakkitos

For vod question: I give you my grandma's banana pudding recipe (everyone in the American south has their own recipe so there is no "correct way" to make it.) Bananas Vanilla/banana pudding A box of Nilla Wafers or brand equivalent (dunno if they sell them in xenokuni) A deep round casserole dish or something of that ilk Make the pudding in a bowl (not the casserole dish) and set it aside. You can use homemade pudding or store bought, it doesn't really matter. Peel the bananas and slice them. Add the stuff to the Casserole dish in layers, first a layer of wafers, then sliced bananas, then pudding, wafers, more bananas, more pudding, then a layer of wafers on top. Stick that bad boi in the fridge for a little while, then you can eat it. Don't eat the whole thing tho, you might make yourself sick.
