Noctua is an austrian brand of ridiculously overengineered silent computer fans. For a few bucks extra compared to a big brand fan, they produce no noise whatsoever and last 20+ years / forever. Mine run at 800-1200 rpm which seems low, but I see their products showcased on high performance CPUs and a RTX 5080, so apparently it's not a problem. It's a crime that by this point these aren't on every cpu heatsink, gpu and power supply.

The main reason people got upset about the way Bao said it was because, yes, it was right after the Emiru thing, but at the SAME time, a smaller male creator had been harassed (and some would argue assaulted) around the same time by a bigger female creator. That was being completely ignored except by smaller circles, and was starting to come out like the same time as Bao's tweet. So it looked really tone-deaf and targeted on Bao's part because there's no way she hadn't seen that news. Especially when said female creator got like zero punishment and just kept antagonizing people rightfully criticizing her for being a creep, whereas a male creator doing the same thing would (rightfully) be ruined. Also, as a native New Englander, Kirsche is right on the money about mom & pop/non-corpo restaurants being everywhere. I still remember this one diner, Riverdale, I would always get the best cheese + gravy fries (not poutine, cause it didn't use curds, literally sliced cheese and brown gravy), omelettes, and shakes; and then this one Italian place, Artan's, that had the BEST pizza and potato skins. Then there's all the seafood places, since if you don't eat seafood growing up in New England, you might starve 😂 And wild that in that video game they have you choose male or female at the beginning, but then suddenly use they/them, like they became 'non-binary' without any input from the player. It's like propaganda on EVERY social justice issue. This is exactly why people say the LGBT actively tries to brainwash and 'recruit' vulnerable people who will very likely realize they aren't gay or trans years later and be traumatized mentally/physically for the rest of their lives.

When focusing on whether it helps him to avoid being hit, this is where I can understand the viewpoint that he shouldn't have shot her, because it doesn't instantly stop or change the trajectory of the car; he has to move, and taking that shot doesn't help him to move. This isn't to say he was unjustified taking the shot, or that his split second decision was incorrect, just that it may not have been directly helpful. What happens next changes this, because it all depends on intent. Setting aside the way that she aimed the car at him while reversing, assume that we know nothing about the intent; maybe she would have just driven off, maybe she would've clipped him but then just kept driving, maybe her driving was so reckless that she might have hit other people, or maybe she might've put it in reverse and kept trying to hit him, because we have seen that happen. In that moment, the only thing that is clear is that her behavior constitutes reckless endangerment, with a risk that such reckless endangerment could continue. Her actions are a threat with a deadly weapon. Maybe shooting doesn't help avoid that one 'attack', but in that moment she is a deadly threat and neutralizing a threat is justifiable. He probably could have avoided her and then re-evaluated, but that doesn't mean it would have been the best choice, and it's still a split-second decision. His reflexes and training were needed to avoid being hit, or hit worse, and his reflexes and training were what lead to him taking the shot.

24:40 Headphones are good for fps multiplayer games. For basically everything else directionality matters less than fidelity, hearing damage mitigation, and multisensory experience of sound. For which you are better off with studio monitor speakers. A La yamaha, HS8 (x2) + S8. Expensive but comparable in price to the highest cost headphones and dramatically superior audio experience.
