yay ruzolve time again!! just briefly, but thank you for sharing your own journey on your identity. it can take a lot to acknowledge it to yourself let alone a large platform and Live on top of that. as someone completely far off from any normative labels, i do relate to the whole “i don’t know if i deserve to have the label of queer or be part of the queer community because i’ve not suffered the same as others”. i too haven’t experienced a lot of that directly and it has made me feel weird in certain queer spaces because i can’t relate and it can feel a little shameful, i guess, for me to still be there. But!! i raise you this to consider: you don’t need to earn a life. and you don’t need to suffer to be able to be a part of something. especially if you Just Are that thing. wishing you the best on the journey though! wherever it takes you. vod question: what’s your non-vtuber cocomelon? i bounce around between a lot of things but generally it’s a mix of game grumps playlists/compilations, rtgame vids and vods, and recently some jackscepticeye horror playthroughs too!! grown up watching lets plays (and specifically around horror games) too much not to find them comforting lmao. oh!! and also occasionally i will land face first and just watch a ton of trixie and katya/queens who like to watch stuff!! and if people are too much, the cult of the lamb ost gets played on Loop. lmao wow you can really tell i’m all over the place.

VOD question! I LOVE watching people build dioramas. Seeing creative ways to make mini scenes is so freaking cool. I also like to watch Moonlight Jewel make dolls from scratch. She has such a good eye for fashion and her videos are the only only exception I make when it comes to my strict no-talking rule in building videos (usually I don't like it when the creator is telling me what they're doing--I'm just there for cozy music and adorable mini house building)

my favorite cocomelon is all the video game "music & ambience" channels. gimme 3 hours of skyrim, TOTK, MHWs, etc sitting in one spot staring at a pretty view with ambient sounds and a good soundtrack and i am golden.

My cocomelon is videos of bathing and brushing dogs. For book club some recommendations of short fantasy books “Emperor’s soul” by Brandon sandeson you said you wanted to give his book a try and this one is a great starting plus it short . The second recommendation is “ dungeon crawler carl” by matt dinniman this book rise is well deserved its funny , dark and still has heart and princess donut is the best taking cat companion ever

I was late lmao I just got to watch the last 5 minutes but here's my answer for the vod question: idk if music is considered a 'cocomelon' but if it's not then I'd say anime reaction videos or game lore explanations (I'm not a gamer but I like reading and following game lores idekw 😅) Anyway, thanks for the stream! I'll watch the rest of the vod now 😂

My favorite cocomelon aside from Ruze is probably reddit reading videos, mainly those read by Smosh and Emkay. I think it's interesting to hear about the different experiences that people have and I learn a lot of perspectives from hearing what the hosts and commentors say.

PROUD VOD WATCHER HERE Thanks for this Month's Ruzolve, Ruze Answer to VOD Question: I guess my favorite "non-Vtuber Cocomelon" videos to watch are musicals and Taskmaster. I play those "definitely legit slime tutorials" and playlists on repeat whenever I need something in the background for a really LOOONG task, to the point where I can quote EVERYTHING (don't test me hehehe ). Meanwhile, Taskmaster is just really goofy, and I wanna think that I can do better than the contestants there, but I know in truth I won't

My non Ruze cocomelon is knitting/crochet or listening to story podcasts and random essays wherever algo leads me to. Funnily enough those cocomelons often coexist because I like to knit while listening to essays. I also used to listen to a lot of audiobooks but lately I grown to be quite picky about voicing. OTSURUZE MY cocomelon personality that is not vtubers (which would of been the EAISEST answer if that was an option ) is coffee videos! I've realised I'm more of a coffee hobbyist and when I get the space I wanna get like some proper espresso equipment and tech, plus the technical side of and breakdown of what makes for a "good pull" of espresso, the technical sides to machines, all the ways to make all the syrups you could possibly want and how to put it all together is something I often find drawing my attention and keeping it

VOD question (after it being explained to me): Generally I just like listening to instrumental music, but one song that’s been on my mind for years is Solid State Scouter, aka Bardock’s theme from Dragon Ball Z. I’ve made a habit of finding remixes of it whenever I have the time and because I love it so much. The most recent one I’ve found that I’ve fallen in love with is a remix of SSS and Death By Glamour from Undertale, made by Starriko Works here on YouTube. That’s pretty much been my background music while driving and chilling at home for the past 6 months and it ain’t changing anytime soon, heh heh. I personally find it really soothing, but that’s just me.

OTSURUZE!!! thank you for the lovely yap session at the start, we really appreciate you and that you make a safe space for us self-discovery is a complicated beast and impostor syndrome about belonging is more common among the lgbt community than one might think (source: me and also multiple of my friends lmfao) my cocomelon besides vtubers?? hmmm probably those hour+ long video game lofi/ost compilations, they're good for when i need to concentrate. and sometimes i put anime on to make grinding in games more bearable, usually Yu Yu Hakusho because i've watched it so many times it's easy to second-screen it. looking forward to this month!! hope you get some sleep in after this edit: also do NOT read homestuck yet, i'm waiting until the 20th anniversary to revisit it and i want to go in as fresh as possible, you'd ruin my plans (/j do whatever you want)

I think a better question is what ISN'T my Cocomelon, TBH... See, I have over 500 tabs open, some YouTube video essays, some unsolved True Crime podcasts, sleep ASMR, albums I've listened to a million times before, that kind of thing. And if it isn't something live where I can be in chat, I look at my other Firefox window open with 500 MORE tabs of fanfics, Itch pages for games I keep looking at but not downloading, obscure Wikipedia articles, and all that good stuff, all while listening to whatever I have in the background. And on TOP of all that, I often have games running on my phone or running off to the side of my poor, innocent laptop, a machine that if it was sapient, would absolutely hate me for the amount of tabs I keep open on it at all times. So basically I'm the King Midas of Cocomelon I think. Everything I touch becomes low attention-span brainrot and one day my Cocomelonmaxxing will take me down as well as my hubris. And yes, I do have a medical diagnosis of ADHD. ALSO! I just wanted to re-add the suggestion I made in chat while Ruze's brain was booting up today's VOD question: We should have one of these questions be "What are some good VOD Questions?" I wanna see what the Ruzaders would come up with~

This is going to expose me as incredibly neurospicy but I bet I watch the spamton sweepstakes 3x a week when my brain is melting, and sometimes I turn Star by Young Scrolls on repeat for 2 hours at a time. But when I’m being a little less unhealthy I will watch long form videos on niche things like random fae or games that never left the country they were made in

💢 OtsuRuze! 💢 _VOD Question: What is your (non-vtuber) Cocomelon?_ Among Us streams from JazzyGuns. She has by _far_ my favorite group to watch play Among Us lmao. One of my favorite bits is when someone (Charlie) was killed at the same time the meeting was called, which caused the game to glitch. He outed the impostor even though he was technically dead, lmao. Even after he was _officially_ dead, he _still_ kept talking and eventually one of the other players was like "M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-MUTE CHARLAY!" I fell tf out lmaooo. I sometimes put it as background noise too, always a fun time.
