Thanks for playing this one! I'm happy you enjoyed it so much, I thought this was a really special game when I played it myself and felt like you'd have fun with it, classic survival horror or not - I think the writing and all is good enough to sort of transcend that and it's also just really kind with the difficulty and doesn't particularly have sticking points because getting super dialed with the mechanics isn't the point, all without being boringly easy too!

thank you so much for playing one of my fav games of 2024 Minto!!! as for the Resident Evil games, please dont feel forced to play them if Survival Horror is not your style! they are way less friendly than Crow Country. though you can try the modern ones like RE2 Remake or Resident Evil 7 if you want a good place to start!

Congrats on beating another game MINTO!!! I’m glad you enjoyed this one and were able to tackle survival horror demons. I think the game stays pretty generous with items and help solving puzzle while keeping you engaged in a really cool story. All the way until the end it had me still guessing at what all was going on! Thanks for the long stream

Minto stacking the game wins lately. You've got this, Minto! Let's go, big 5-0!! I'm glad you enjoyed the game even though it has a play style similar to those old survival horror games. Even though I can handle tank controls fairly well, those really old RE games are a bit clunky so I get it 100%. I didn't really get a good handle on tank controls until I played the Onimusha games, but maybe because those are much faster paced.

Congrats on clearing this game in one go! It's one of my favorite PS1-like survival horrors because of its story. I just love how it feels like your typical Resident Evil scenario and the UI is very much from that series as well, but the twist and the end is sooooooo cool! Also, poor Harrison James, named after two Silent Hill protags and looking like Leon and but had ZERO survival horror game in him. 💀

I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but my first name Brandon, in Welsh, means Little Raven and Crow. I often wonder if Brandon Lee knew that when he was filming The Crow. Incidentally, and coincidentally, my middle name is Lee. A lot of people thought I was named after Brandon Lee, but I actually got my middle name from one of my aunts. My last name, Powell, means son of the exalted one. Or, in short, prince. So my name means Little Raven Prince. I used to dislike my name, and even considered changing it at one point. But after doing some research on it, and learning the meaning behind it, I've really came to love it. It was the first time I actually came to see myself as Brandon.
