I like how the ongoing plot now is how to balance keeping your well-paying day job with trying to pursue your passion (being the worst/funniest criminals). Glad your voice is doing better with the work-around, hope it continues to improve! This server has been so much fun to see unfold and definitely want you to have as much fun with it as possible Also I'm so invested in Stuart I need to see him in more situations

yknow, i do find Stuart feeling insecure in his lawyer ‘ruse’ and not being caught on it yet and escalating things further until it finally gets acknowledged fun. that said, hope you don’t need to be too apologetic in what you’ve contributed in your lawyering as a player. i feel like stuart’s both been Very Good in his work as a police mediator down in the cells, and Goofy But still could provide back and forth that was fun in the court cases. it’s been cool to see, so thanks! and i def respect exploring other things as the dynamics of the server shift as everything is more established o7

If I can give my 2c on how the lawyering's gone: in both cases, Stuart's gotten himself into a position where he's the most unprepared person in the courtroom. This isn't really his fault, he was stalked and harassed for the entire Rem-E case (the case itself was also blatantly impossible to work with). Then he got dropped into his second case last minute and also lost a witness to a shootout. There hasn't been a case where Stuart had the honest opportunity to _prepare_, to talk to witnesses and build his case and all that. So like, as a viewer I do want to see that happen, to see Stuart get a workable case for once and a real chance to build some confidence as a lawyer. But I'm just here for the ride, y'know, what happens happens.

Gavis, I had no idea you were so stressed. If his voice changes, you're still Stuart Smalls to me. I like the character you've created but it's his sense or humor / timing that makes him so loveable. Please don't worry so much about the voice and just be Stuart!

Honestly I love the lawyer work. It adds silliness to an overly serious situation. It's a vtuber GTA RP... the court should not be that painful. All the crud "Jake" had to do for HOURS for that case was awful because everyone else took it far too seriously. Once you were the prosecutor though it made it more fun! I'm all for a balance or law and crime but please stay a lawyer <3

(MIGHT HAVE TO SPLIT THE COMMENT; PART 1 IS HERE AND THE REST YOU WILL FIND IN THE REPLIES TO THIS!) "The wolf howls in the desert yet you couldn't seem to hear it. How does it know? How does it feel to know you have failed?" Aggravating words spoken to police officers over payphones, posing them riddles three and making comments about sucking bluud. In an attempt to spice up their well-compensated day jobs and escape a normal life, our lawyers decide to put their work on hold for a promising career as the Bad Boys in the criminal underworld. And to think Stuart's phone was sending notifications without end after he returned to Los Santos for his duties! Which would not last long, seeing how Zeke Pier and Steven Large stepped into the spotlight. As well as their newest acquaintance: Hugh Wayman. Him hiding on top of the roof was the perfect hiding spot for a hardended criminal. However, mention of bodies still causes him shock here and there. Can't believe the incriminating evidence surfaced on its own, Jake truly took a recording of the killing of Rem E. and had photographic proof as well. Though, more photos of an unflattering camera angle and some leavings in the sand were great cause for chuckles. Which then somehow turned into Hugh being adopted into lawyership and hauled off on an adventure to procure a weapon registration. Unfortunately, the police was too busy to attend to anyone at the time thus making said registration impossible. Officer Dweemer told them to return in 30 minutes, more or less. We met with Prophet Margins on the way, giving legal advice on robbing banks and afterwards calling with Officer Adler about Rem E. as a puma that was put down. Four paws, four legs and one whisker was such a funny as heck description. Hugh having the hamburger stuck in his hand certainly did not make him beat the allegations of being a burglar for hamburgers. Upon returning, the P.D. offered the perfect opportunity to formulate a plan of using payphones to call the police and start mass hysteria about murdered bodies. All to frame... [cue to a certain tension filled music] an entity. Every officer was in a situation over a shoot-out but remained ever helpful despite that! Good people. Appreciate Stuart's recap on what happened while he was out and about as a mime, losing his gun and phone in the process! Must've been quite the adventure. After that, one last court case awaited for Stuart and Jake to engage in a battle of minds! Mr. Smalls would be taking on the side of the prosecution for this one, switching from his usual duties as defense lawyer. Witness and a jury would be needed! Causing the most hilarious moment of telling Jake that "someone is dead" and that he "was on his iPad". Mr. Hyde did not give fricken frick. Those two new arrivals giving Stuart underwear cracked me up so bad, even worse when our lawyer tried eating it! Much the same for the bathroom break by the plants. Hugh falling out of the parking lot, sending him money to purchase a car and gathering witnesses as he went - Smalls works hard! Jake was a real one filling him in before the court case begin in earnest. Trial itself was a glorious display of back and forth. The bantering between defense and prosecution in particular. I'm so in love with how Stuart runs trials: He's unprepared, keeps stalling and gains the details as he goes. It gets repetitive at this point but to me, he is the mirror image of Phoenix Wright going with the flow and gaining his confidence over the course of the case unfolding which adds to Stuart's charm for me. Her honor fighting for her life made it even better, she was having none of Stuart struggling to ask the right questions until Officer Smiling assisted and it turned into a ventriloquist situation or a parrot reiterating what was said. Using Hugh as the freebie to create a similar scenario in which there were two individuals with the same predicament, then admitting it was Stuart and Jake who got Hugh the weapon was gold. Jake reading the witness account in a different voice too, the tonal shift and fluctuation in bhis voice was incredible.
