Indie title that should get more recognition: Crying Suns Has a really interesting story, and has a phenomenal soundtrack.

Had to be VOD gang today, but thank you for using my art in the thumbnail Ruze! Always makes me happy when you do, appreciate it! Q: Game that should get more attention? I was reminded of Gitaroo Man! Really fun rhythm game!! Oh, indie title? Uhhh... I guess Loop Hero maybe? I don't remember people talking too much about it, I love that game!

Thanks for the stream gamer! I am very charmed by this one I really want it! As for the vod question I have a hard time figuring out what is and isn’t popular when it comes to games but I know exactly 2 other people who have played “Mysteries Under Lake Ophelia” and I really liked that one! Its a spooky fishing game And as we all know, all games with fishing are good games

THANK YOU FOR STREAM !! the art style in this game goes so hard aughhhhh also 2:35:57 yes it did make you cuter, cry about it :3c for the VOD question: i sadly don't play as many unknown indie titles as i should (and therefore don't know which ones are more popular than others), but i've seen my friends play Hylics and it looks phenomenal but they are the only people i have ever seen talking about it. it has a very distinct style that's sort of retro but also extremely surreal and i think more games need to get absolutely goofy with it like that. it's in my backlog of games i have bought but just haven't found the time to start lmao

Otsuruze! Thank you for showcasing the game Vod question: Superbrothers: Sword and Swocery EP. Honestly worth playing on the strength of the soundtrack alone.

Thanks for the stream, Ruze! I'm not totally confident in my ability to judge how well-known indie games are (some are obvious, but then it becomes a sliding scale), but if I comb through my list for good ones I've never seen any streamers I watch play, I've got two for you: Citizen Sleeper, a scifi narrative rpg based on the ttrpg Blades in the Dark, and Light Fingers, a party game where you explore the board to delve dungeons operated by your opponents, buy or steal from shops, evade guards, or rob the other players directly--all to be the thief with the most loot!

Don't know if you've already played it, but "The King is Watching" is a fun roguelite. It recently got the much needed mid-run save feature. I'm not sure if it's underrated or not, but would be fun to see you play it.

A game that should have gotten more attention huh? My pick is Underrail. Definitely not a pick that's for everyone, but god am I sucker for that early Fallout, strategy based kinda games. It's story is incredibly compelling, and the DLC explores some deeper topics I honestly didn't expect from a game of its kind. Plus, I love the D&D aspects the game throws at you every now and again. Underrail is just goated, man.

Vod question: An indie game I wish got more attention is Midnight Scenes (a point and click adventure and puzzle game)! It's definitely not some little tiny unknown game, but I do think it deserves a lot more attention! It's inspired by The Twilight Zone and has VERYYY good spooky (I wouldn't really say scary though) vibes. The first two episodes are already incredible as is, but it REALLY gets good in episodes 3 and 4 (4 is my favorite but you CANNOT play it without playing 3 first). It has incredible stories, is well written, great art, and just overall very creative and AUGH I love it.

OtsuRuze!! This seems like SUCH a fun game!! Also YES. You are indeed very cute For the vod question; I wasn't around when it launched but I assume it didn't have much traction or as much as it should have since I need to tell ppl about this game whenever I bring it up, it's called "Graveyard Keeper", the premise is that you're a man with a wife and a kid, you get teleported to a different time and everyone assumes you're the new Keeper and you talk to a drinking, talking skull to guide you through the process and help him out too! You get dead bodies via a talking donkey who wants to overthrow the government, hold sermons for a cult, do some questionable science and there's like SIX DLC's and it's SOOOO good! It's one of those SUPER long games! Days of the week are represented via symbols, some people for quests only show up on certain days, it's A LOT of fun and it's basically just a resource management game which is kind of dark but super goofy! One of those switch your brain off, just do a bunch of stuff and get consistently distracted type game!

VOD question : I have one that fit, Crown Gambit, out recently (in june) it's a heavy story driven game with a lot of choice, a fantastic DA and a battle system based on card. And a game that does not fit that much because it got really popular at the star of his early access but Tiny Rogue is a fantasic rogue-like game that every one should play !

VOD QUESTION: What sleeper indie hit do you wish had gotten more attention? MY ANSWER: Evoland 2 by Shiro Games which is a Zelda like game that has time travel and much like the first Evoland depending on whether you were in the past, present, or future the graphics would get more advanced from beautiful pixel art all the way to cute 3D graphics. However unlike the first Evoland this sequel game has more of a focus on a story an extremely great story in my opinion! I've never played Chrono Trigger but I've been told the story is similar to that game's story but still different enough to be it's own thing! The game also is full of references to other games important to video game history which are so cute and cool! Sadly Evoland 2 never got as much attention compared to the first game! Anyway that's my rant about my hyperfixation indie game I think should have been more popular!

Thanks for the stream, the game seems fun. For the VOD question, I have to go with CrossCode. It had moderate success but I think it deserves even more attention. It's an all timer for me. Love the setting, the combat, the story, the characters, all of it. There's so many cool side quests and puzzles and novel ideas in each area. No one spoil yourself on the story, it unfolds in such a great way.

Thank you for the stream! It was a very interesting game, with the time limit and all. VOD question: Uh..uh..I don't play many indie games but maybe Cattails the game? Its an RPG you play as a cat!

-"Cobalt Core", even though it has good reviews none of my favorite streamers or even B list streamers played it or gave it a chance. It's such a fun take on a card roguelite and i think the ship mechanic really is fun. -Other favorites that i don't see many talking about are "Wildermyth" which is such a fun pseudo dnd style rpg. (I know you played it and i was actually shocked, and delighted! Would love to see you bring some peeps to do it as multiplayer. It's fun to hear everyone voice their characters.) -I adore "Homicipher" which has such interesting language based puzzles, and wish everyone would play it. Still blows my mind that it was made by one guy. -My hubby says "Against The Storm" which was a creative real time sim city fantasy strategy game.

Thank you for the stream! This game looks so fun and the soundtrack absolutely slaps 🔥 Vod question: I'm not sure what the requirements for an underrated indie title are, but here are a few niche ones. Inmost is a beautiful pixel game with a great story. Proximate is a horror game where you investigate an underwater lab using a visor that only assumes what the object you are looking at is, and tells your distance from it. So that stain on the wall 1.7 meters away is 99,9% ketchup, trust me. Smooshi Come Home is a cute platformer with solid gameplay. Felvidek is a funny surrealistic jrpg set in 15th century Slovakia. Lost in Vivo is a claustrophobic survival horror akin to Silent Hill. Pathologic 2 is about a doctor fighting the plague in a small town, with hardcore survival mechanics and a very unique atmosphere and setting.

yep that's some solid roguelike right there, might pick that up for myself when it's a little more cooked as far as the VOD question, it might be stretching the definition a lot ('cos it's like...AA), but I wish Wild Hearts (and, by extension, Toukiden) had gotten better reception than it did, I still think it's the best Monster-Hunter alike out there and it kinda went under the radar due to launch issues In terms of more Indie-Indie level options, Probably either Worldless (a metroidvania with turn-based combat in and an interesting artstyle), or Salt and Sacrifice (another MH-alike that got huge flak because people thought it'd be more soulslike like the previous game was) if we extend it to the utmost possible definition...I wish the PvE hero-defense genre had gotten huge instead of the League-MOBA/L4D-Horde-shooter ones, but we're decades late to that party and the only game I can think of that even tried that went under in like a month. Eh

Well, here's another game in my wishlist I guess... Thanks for the stream, Ruze !! VOD question : hmmm, that's a good question. Maybe Evoland and Evoland 2. Also, the "To the Moon" games serie. The gameplay is really simple, but it's more oriented around the story (different in each episode and with a common thread around the main characters).

THANK YOU FOR STWEAM it was very a very cute and fun gameplay! hope you keep it up one day ~ vod question: MOONLIGHTER! I love that game so so so so much! it was incredibly funny and the art is just insanely pretty! I enjoyed playing it a lot. Also Bastion by Super Giant Games (the ones who made Hades) is so good! has a nice story and both the music and art are beautiful! I also played a gamed called Garden Story and it's so so sooooo beautiful! and the story is very wholesome as well... Idk, they might be actually famous or not, but I think they're amazing games! especially when talking about art which is one of the main reasons I play games hahaha

Vod gang! Thank you for the stream! Vod question, an indie I have been playing is Vampire Therapist, which is very well done and have received multiple good reviews, but surprisingly I dont see people commenting a lot about it in the social media or my social circles. I would definitely recommend if you like vampires, incredible voice acting, and good dose of character lore.

30:45 Erm I'm french and for me you're pronouncing "colonel" kinda like frenchs do. Just the way of pronouncing the "el" at the end changes. Because we pronounce it the same way as in "caramEL" (that you're pronouncing "right"). So you're not wrong but frenchs aren't either ! And I'd even say you're french coded in your way of pronouncing some words ! HA ! So now, how do YOU like that ? Midwestern vtuber ? More like MidwestFRENCH vtuber !!!
