I didn't expect much. Next thing I knew, I was completely invested in this game. Now we have to see what the other scenarios offer. Glad to know you're streaming it the next day. Thanks for the stream, Shinri!

I was not expecting this game to go as dark as it did. I enjoyed theorycrafting with everyone! Thank you for the stream and looking forward to the next one!

I'm still catching up with VODs and this hit me like a truck. I wasn't expecting such a well crafted story line and series of details left for you to piece together, and yet here I am mid-work holding back tears. Would've loved to be there live theorycrafting with everyone, but the VOD hits just as hard.

Interesting thing you didn't notice in scenario 3 is that the footsteps through the window were dry, and the ones from the door were wet. The weather site told you when it started raining. Also that it was the 20th anniversary of Katherine's death on that last day. That was such a ride in story telling. Can't wait for the next scenario

was completely blindsided by where the story went and how dark it was, but I'm so hooked on the story and it was a lot of fun watching you and the kois theorycraft as we all put together info!! you really seemed like a detective

Love that you got perms for this. It's probably a different experience from the physical versions I like to play but it seems to be close. I couldn't sit through the whole thing live because of timing (your streams start about 5-6 hours before I have to wake up to prepare be at my dreaded dayjob desk, and I must sleep at some point, haha). So I'm listening to it again while working on other things. I was concerned about your experience until you said you were getting a notepad, and then I could relax enough to drift off... *grin* I think these kinds of games simply require a way to organize info into visual packets that you can cross reference and compare. I would add that if you enjoy interacting with physical ephemera and artifacts as much as I do, the games I mentioned earlier are still worthy (even if just for your personal experience and time rather than content). In those games, I would also point out that not skimming anything they give you can be important (I noticed in this game that it gave you a shortcut to what you needed to focus on in the newspaper clipping). In one case, by reading everything in an advertisement such as time, date and place, I was able to determine that one of my witnesses was lying. There was another case when I had to calculate timing of an international phone call next to a meeting. And one where I had to come to an understanding of ocean currents using a map of an island. My favorite moment of investigation in one case was noticing a single shoe in a tiny security photo using a magnifying glass, and then having an epiphany about what it meant by being there. Anyway, I'm thrilled that you're playing this kind of game whatever version you find, because I think you'll love it as much as I do! Edit: I meant to add another feature of many of the physical games that I play that you might enjoy: It is difficult to brute force them because when you go online with your answers (most of it is a physical game, but you have to use their website to find out if you are correct), you also have to explain why you came to that conclusion before it lets you move forward.

CONTENT WARNING for VOD watchers: This game explores very dark themes. If you are particularly affected by very bad things happening to minors and children i advise you use your discretion. This mainly applies to the second case he takes on.

I FIGURED OUT WHAT HAPPENED WITH HAZEL. Ok so here's my theory: ---------------SPOILERS----------------- Thomas was ultimately the cause of Katherine's children being taken away, which led to Katherine's death and Hazel being trafficked after being placed in foster care. Thomas made it his life's work to save Hazel to partially atone for his failure. We know that Phillip renames the girls, since Irene wrote that 'he named her (the new girl) Stephanie.' So I believe that Janine was Hazel. She tried to get away, and was killed. Through his searching, Thomas found Hazel, either before or after her death. If before, he may have been trying to get her away from Phillip, but she was killed before he was successful. This is why he was at the cemetery with a sad expression when he met Irene. We also know that all of Phillip's girls have black rose tattoos on their legs. Thomas most likely knew this when he met Irene. She also wrote that he helped her when she fell out of a tree and hurt her leg. In doing so, he saw her tattoo, and knew that she was in trouble just like Hazel was. He wasn't able to save Hazel, but he had the chance to save Irene and possibly the other girls as well. That's why he worked to get her to trust him, and gave her his phone number for if she ever needed help. He couldn't save Janine, but he managed to save Rose and Irene. Believing that his chapter had come full circle, he was planning to end his life in the same manner that Katherine had. Phillip just happened to get to him before he had the chance.
