Thank you for the monthly ruzolve and for the fun Xenokuni stories! I'm not an expert in the japanese language but kaban is usually used for handbags backpacks and purses, so if you respond with this word the cashier might think that you don't need a grocery bag because you already have something to put your groceries in. If you wanna ask for a plastic bag it's better to use the word "fukuro" like "fukuro onegai shimasu" - "a bag please" i hope this actually helps and that it's not just cashiers being quirky and pulling complicated sentences on you

I mean, I don't know where you'd find it in japan but there are these kind of vacuum seal big bags you can use for blankets, clothing, pillows and stuff and it helps shrink down their size..that might help somewhat how many more suitcases you'll need on the way home?

As an axeceptional member and someone who has been relegated to VOD gang since mid 2024 I'm totally not precious about having access to things that others don't. My membership is for general support as I can't soup, not as expecting you give me "stuff" so all good here.

-Glad I got to see the first half of this live. Second half was vod gang, but i hope you would approve since it was to play in a new D&D campaign. Which went very well, and my fancy forest gnome barbarian got to go full private investigation mode on a theft. -The stories were so interesting! Imagining being somewhere where i can't read the language sounds scary. The food and shopping sound awesome though. I definitely hope you do another yapping stream cause I wanna hear all the stories! The seal sounded so cute! The seals at our zoo are very social and love chattering at the people. -With merch, I'm glad that it's going well. You definitely have stuff I want. As i ordered the birthday merch, and the plushy and now the new outfit set (couldn't resist the hand signed card).... but since none of that stuff has actually arrived, my husband asked if Holostars is actually a scam 😅 I told him to treat it like kickstarter since we've backed a lot of board games and a gaming table, and they often take a year (or 2 for the table😅) to actually get here. So far, though, everything we've backed was awesome and worth the wait. So i tell him your merch will be too!

Otsu! Thank you for the stories so far! One Ruzader already mentioned it, but do look into the vacuum space saver bags for your pillows. Some of them don’t actually need a vacuum to work. They should have them at Daiso/100yen stores. You can always mail your stuff home if there’s too much. But it might be cheaper to ask a friend, who is also flying back to help you take stuff home. You should definitely use “sumimasen” if you spent too much at a crane game. Next time you order an alcoholic drink try a “Cassis Orange”. They usually make it with more juice than alcohol. I’m sorry Sukiya didn’t work out as compensation, here’s some maybe useful Japanese: Yatsu =thing (person/inanimate object/animal) but it has a rude connotation Fukuro= bag (more commonly used for plastic shopping bag) Kekko desu = another way to say no (more polite)

I thought so many times that you were working a lot and that we would still be very happy and satisfied with one VP every two months instead of each month. So I'm glad you're switching things a little to have some more space and to take care of yourself ! Thanks for the stream and the JP stories ! And really happy and excited about the Misty Mountain Gaming collab !! (oh and for all the stuff you bought, maybe vacuum sealed bags could help ?)
