1:10:18 ruby mimic is not the best for magic builds that is why. it is using your equipped items so it will have low armor and no real weapons unless you are set up with a good magic sword and armor. it will use spells but not always the smartest spells. but you have a ton of mana to summon the most powerful spirit ashes so you don't need the mimic. (it cost no mana, its meant for melee builds with low mana)
