D drive died like a hero, causing a huge mess Reine finally told everybody who wasn't up to date with stuff on her streams. Some people missed a certain stream when the D Drive failed. In theory Reine could use it as external storage if she format it 05:28 Reine got rid of her D drive (HDD) that drive was the cause of random errors, PC being slow and other weird stuff 06:18 It kinda like you only know it until you found a solution even tho there were signs People are nice, they're like "hopefully you can backup everything" Reine had everything migrated, first time the D Drive failed was a while back. After that Reine migrated some of her steam games to E 07:20 The main game of Persona 3 was on D Drive and we could still finish it normally. Maybe at first it was only partially faulty. She used to install all of the games on the D Drive, back then she only had the C drive one which was a SSD but it was small, and a hard disk drive which was D. Now she has a lot of SSDs and that's where she stores her games now. Her computer is fast enough to load the games in the hard drive 08:27 people might make fun of Reine's downloads folder, but she has her games in one drive, system in one drive. No mixing. D was where All games were stored, including steam, valorant etc. The first issue was when valorant updated and it wouldn't properly load sunset map, no matters how many times Reine tried to install/uninstall. It was the times when Reine recorded many stuff and she was into Valorant. Those things made the computer heavy. And it was a blur, what was causing it 09:38 It's funny because the taskbar would freeze, blah blah blind photoshop would freeze Reine was thinking, Maybe five years ago her PC was like good, maybe these days the specs are bad. You know how phones do that they keep releasing new stuff and make even faster phones. Reine thought maybe it was something like that. Cuz she's been slowly feeling her PC with a bunch of stuff, installations, maybe too many apps that launches startup 10:35 D drive stands for dead drive. it wasn't malicious or dangerous. Eventually she found out that it was faulty by a scan, maybe the D drive is faulty, Reine decided to move all her games expect persona, because we hadn't finished persona. And then she was like okay, let's finish it. We finished persona just fine and then fast forward, fast forward more issues... until Persona DLC and a certain funny bug. And on Saturday we had an absolute peak 11:50 Switching screens. Yes, P3 was on the D Drive and DLC was installed there. And we had a funny bug where Yukari's and Akihiko's bodies disappeared and Reine had to move persona games to the other drive. But the D drive still wasn't doing anything dangerous to the PC. Until last Saturday 13:05 Reine's fine without the problem. It's just unnecessary bottleneck that's making Reine's computer so weird. Now everything, PC boots instantly, there's nothing wrong with her actual spec, her PC. 13:50 It's like overstaying it's welcome. And trying to do things in the meantime if it had stayed harmless or dormant or whatever you could call it. you could stay.
